It seems that I'm reviewing it for the second time, but I still can't understand why the hell I would entrust a secret murder (within the walls of a castle, even more so) to a person with an inconvenient heavy weapon in terms of size and maneuverability.
Yes, I know that Gats is a great swordsman.
Yes, I also know that Griffith chose him for a reason.
But still.

@Byoki: an assumption that must be forgiven by the author for the integrity of thought)

@Byoki: Gats is the most trusted and skilled warrior among the Falcons, but most importantly, he is the perfect weapon, a tool of war. He doesn't ask unnecessary questions and isn't afraid of collateral damage, he just waves his sword. If Griffith were to entrust this task to a Helmet, for example, then there is no guarantee that she will defeat the famous general, and even more so, she will take extreme measures in case of problems (she would not kill a child).

@Antisocial: A hard hat? You can't wear a helmet in any way.
But I would, for example, send the dodger Judo on this task.

@Byoki: That's right. He is ideally suited for such an operation - dexterous, skillful, able to be inconspicuous and not make too much noise (and we all saw how dexterous he is with a crossbow and throwing knives - Julius has nothing to hide). But this is logic, and the plot is not always logical.

@Kuroko: There is logic in the last remark.
Despite the fact that it sounds kind of strange in this context. Ah-ha-ha.

@Byoki: Gats belongs to him and will do whatever he is told. Dodger Judo can tell his friends from the squad and denigrate Griffith

@roko94: Wow.
I don't think Judo is stupid or inexperienced enough to just blurt out information like this to anyone, even from the squad. I don't know where you saw it in him.

@roko94: Besides, if you think about it, he would have blackened himself. Like a murderer. This, in general.

@Byoki: If caught, Griffith would be recognized as a traitor. Gats, unlike Judo, is able to cope with any problem that arose after solving the issue and hide, which he eventually did.

The problem with this section of the plot is not the performer, but the chosen weapon. Any surviving witness will have no problem identifying the only person in Midland who is capable of swinging a huge rail. The few advantages of the trilogy of full-length films is the fact that this moment was fixed. In the manga, you can refer to the fact that even though Gats is strong, he is not particularly smart.

Nevertheless, it is not difficult to understand why Miura decided on this plot move at all. It is this segment of the plot that has an important expositional function, revealing Griffth more fully as a person and sheds light on the relationship between him and Gats.

@Antisocial: Yes, yes. “good.

If you look at my very first comment, you can see that, yes, I did focus on weapons. At that time, I was only familiar with the series, where Gats was shown only as waving a "rail" and nothing more. Hence the question arose: why not someone else, since this one only has a kilometer-long sword.

And if you look at the very last one, then I've already pointed out there that it's clear that this is all for the plot.

@Byoki: just in case, I'll unsubscribe here, I don't know how it is now in the manga/TV series, I'll just speak out about the situation again.
Maybe Griffith just chose Gats because because. Because he was more sympathetic to him, because he wanted to exercise the right to him. Well, what will you do to him, as they say.
The gesture on the part of the author is not towards logic, but towards the plot and the interaction of two key characters. The tie.

What a sloppy Gats. Why wasn't he arrested afterwards? A bunch of guards saw him.

How I'm burning from this anime.... A faggot blonde Griffith, a quality moron Gats, a snotty princess who just makes you sick and a neurotic chocolate bar who is ready to break loose and only shy in front of a faggot is not worse than a snot princess. I understand everything: the drawing is normal for those years, the plot is acceptable, but these characters make them blaze eerily.... I feel sorry for the boy, good night sweet prince.

2 moments that bomb me.

1. Clumsy Gats.
He was sent to kill 1 person, and as a result, a kid with half a guard also died. Why couldn't you have left just as unnoticed through the window?

2. The Creep Griffith.
What's going on with him anyway? Where did this bottomless puppet look come from? He even looks at the princess sometimes as if she were a piece of wood. And he knows everything and sees everything.

Something is a crime and some kind of punishment. About Gats's clumsiness and stupidity. Guys, he killed a little kid who also reminded him of himself as a child. What kind of sanity preservation can we talk about? The only thing that bothers me is the sword on his back, which is firing like hell. And why couldn't you have taken a knife of some kind from the very beginning.

It's a pity the kid has no happiness in life, and also these tearful last minutes ... in general, it's strange that they all thought it was a thief, because an ordinary thief would hardly be able to chop up half the guards in a mess, so also the most important thing is the captain or the heir whatever his name is + it's really stupid that gats went With your sword, couldn't you turn on your brain and take another one? Well, it's obvious that he's the only one with such a healthy dick. + I could have jumped out of the window right away and not opened my face , then I wouldn 't have had to kill the kid

Many people write here that Griffith has changed a lot, but it seems to me that the prerequisites for such an image have always been in him. I don't know if this will somehow be explained in the future by the influence of this Royal Stone, but even in the very first episodes he had a dialogue with Gats, where he talked about his dreams of greatness and the belief that he was created for something more. Even then there were some hints that he considered himself "above" the rest, born for a great purpose, and his environment was just a means to achieve it, which has now been confirmed.

Gatsa is very sorry about this.. On the one hand, there was rejection towards him because of the murder of a child and the rest who fell under the distribution, and on the other hand, I understand that he clearly did not want this and did it on military instincts at first, and then thought + he is a traumatized person with brainwashed Griffith, who is not used to doubting orders. It's good that I've started at least now.
I wonder how his development will be shown further, while I feel some similarities with Rainer from Attack of the Titans in terms of character, and he was one of the most interesting characters there for me.
