A great series that tells us how people can hate other people for being different, and be afraid, and even more so hate when it becomes clear to them how much they are similar. The message becomes finally clear if we replace plastic people with so-called test tube children. A good illustration of how they would be treated, for the most part, in society if their origin became known.

Wow, these gangers are creepy to the point of goosebumps. In the sense that the series scares them a little with its features to the point of goosebumps, no worse than those episodes with a Beast or Crying Angels.
To anyone who likes this series, I recommend the book Kiln People by David Brin. The same questions are revealed in much deeper and more detail.
