Description
Super-Hero partners Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with with Hope's parents Janet van Dyne and Hank Pym, and Scott's daughter Cassie Lang, find themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.
Scott and Cassie's relationship as father and daughter is insanely warm.
I was very pleased that everyone became a family.
I'm not talking about Cassie's genius at all.
I don't know how to write so as not to spoilerize, but I can say that the movie came in
in general, I liked the film, I love where there is a relationship between people and animals - it's amazing 😍
The relationship between Scott and Cassie is very good, I liked how at the beginning he told her about the attacks, and then she repeated it as well. I generally understand why Hank became a grandfather, Cassie obviously spent a lot of time with Pima, but it's strange that her mother wasn't shown, just mentioned.
The effects are beautiful, I love everything so surreal, since the first Strange, when he was flying outside his body. The ants are top, 11 out of 10, it's a pity they didn't give a name to any of them.
A very strange reinterpretation of MODOC, to be honest. Of course, I did not expect the implementation as in the recent cartoon, but it was very unusual and unexpected.
I wonder what happened to Kang and if he will be in future films or if there will be another version of him. Apparently it's different, since he warned that everything would be worse because of the other one, but it's still interesting.
P.S. If suddenly someone missed the second scene, then you didn't lose anything, there, who would have thought, the announcement of the second season of Loki.
And a separate respect for Scott from Baskin Robins, it turns out that out of a million variants of Scott, only one settled down to live a normal life :)
I thought of something like that :)
This granny Janet infuriated at the very beginning and calmly explained everything without tantrums, if she had not climbed initially, they would not have got anywhere🫤 I spent half the movie looking at the plastic of her face, at her lips, I couldn't stop🫠🫢😂
And this Modok killed me on the spot, I haven't laughed like that in a long time🤣
I watched it in the original in 3D, well, it's very beautiful, guys🔥
For Scott, 5 years was like 5 hours. Could Janet be considered to have aged because she and Scott were in different places and acted differently?
And of course it was nice to see the ending of the plot from the first film 😁

Personally, I would cautiously suggest that the public is finally fed up with Marvel movie comics. She is tired of following the ever-expanding universe, where you can't miss not only feature films that are released almost once a quarter, but also TV series, miniseries, animated series, short films and special projects (by the way, I constantly forget to watch the Night Werewolf and the Christmas edition of the Guardians#34;) on streaming services. And there's also a story incomprehensible to the layman with a Spider-Man from Sony, whose Venom, Morbius, Craven turned out to be unloved children, constantly rejected by the Faiga, and are constantly half a step away from the real cinematic universe. Add new heroes who are frankly inferior to the original Avengers caste. Don't forget about the lack of a large-scale crossover at the end of the fourth phase (it ended with a sequel to Black Panther, about which my last review was).
Well, indeed, the latest Marvel films have lost in quality, and the series have differed very much in quality (I won't get into the wilds here from what I watched: I can only praise the first season of Loki and the Moon Knight. The rest merged either immediately or in the course of the action). Ah, well, yes, there is still uncertainty. The main villain of the Multiverse Saga was introduced in the series. Yes, in the series about the audience's favorite Loki. But in the series, Carl! Almost at the end. And no preparation during the previous feature films. It is clear that the studio wanted to give a break to the old heroes and time to reveal themselves in their own solo albums to the new ones, and not immediately after Thanos to present a new global antagonist. But such a strategy would work if the audience got a break of a couple of years. It would be time to catch my breath and start over, as it were. And so everyone wanted (although they understood that they would not get) after the Infinity War and the Endgame of the same scale, epicness, action and interesting characters on both sides of the barricades. But it turned out what happened.
In addition, more and more information guides appear from Marvel with the thought: "Something is wrong in the kingdom of Feigov". The new Captain America is assigned from 4 to 6 months of reshoots after unsuccessful pre-screenings (in terms of time, it's like shooting a new movie from scratch). The actor playing the new megazlodey, it seems, turned out to be a watermelon abuser beating his girlfriend (the lawyers swore that the situation would be quickly resolved, but the New York court twisted the fig and decided to extend the whole case for several months). And now, instead of the Conqueror Kang, they want to suddenly introduce Doctor Doom (of course, I understand that the subtitle of the nearest avenging interregnum "Kang Dynasty " can always be changed, but isn't it easier to replace the actor?). In the middle of filming, the entire author's staff (both screenwriters and directors) of the new Daredevil were fired. Suddenly it turned out that Disney had been shooting the series all this time without showrunners at the head of its multi-part projects - purely on a whim (to be honest, I have no idea how such an approach can, in principle, work on modern TV). About the pilot issues (thanks to Netflix), which initially judge the quality of the series and decide whether to give them the green light, in principle, everyone has already forgotten. Well, there are "little things ": obviously bought reviews of films with an agenda, gradually decreasing audience ratings (with retaliatory attacks by creators in the style: "You are all fools, haters, toxic and not treated), and, of course, fees in recently, Marvel films are not pleasing. And even the sequels of the most-presamyh hype and progressive paintings (such as Captain Marvel and Black Panther). Well, so far there is no clear plan, as it was before. Rather, some incomprehensible and abrupt gestures. Feigi is already, according to Loki's precepts, in such despair that he decided to turn to the old guard of the Avengers. I can't imagine how many zeros there will be after the one in the budget column of Secret Wars if Marvel decides to cooperate with Downey Jr., Evans and others who have run out of contracts again.
In short, I finish the essay "How everything is bad at Marvel " and begin to tell why it is impossible to believe anyone, even myself, in our time, but it is possible for me. "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania" is a really great and spectacular action movie. Peyton Reed copes with the series quite successfully for the third time, departing this time from the more mundane techno-style a la Iron Man and giving out something in between Guardians of the Galaxy and the third Thor.34;. There is a good moral here (my God, at least someone in a modern blockbuster said: "Sorry, I messed up here, here and here. I repent. So it was wrong". And, by the way, I'm not talking about the protagonist Scott Lang), and good dramatic layouts, and almost always successful jokes, of which there are many (from text to visual. Even the visits about holes and their number were not very funny at first, then somehow awkward, but in the end everything paid off handsomely), and various and inventive battles. There are several sudden (well, how sudden - at least I forgot they would be in the triquel) characters/actors. And regarding the return/change of one, I did not understand the claims at all. Well, he was deliberately made idiotic in terms of design, and until his last scene they openly mocked his appearance, despite all his deeds. I would even say that in the end they even went a little too far with bullying. In addition, the beginning and end of the trilogy were well connected. The second actor played a character reminiscent of Jeff Goldblum from Thor, but, in my opinion, with much more pleasure. There are no complaints about the main cast at all. Michelle Pfeiffer is a miracle how good she is. Michael Douglas amusingly portrays a husband who gradually learns details about his wife, who has been absent from his life for thirty years. Not enough, of course, Evangeline Lilly, although the name of her heroine is in the title. But Paul Rudd has excellent chemistry with Catherine Newton, who first played Cassie, the grown-up daughter of an Ant. In general, "Ant-Man" continues to successfully reveal the topic of family. In this regard, it is especially noticeable that Peyton Reed has long been burning with the desire to put the Fantastic Four together and has embodied many of his past ideas, albeit on the basis of another Marvel family.
Separately, I will note Jonathan Majors in the role of Kang. As far as I didn't see him in the finale of the first season of Loki, I liked him so much here. Yes, of course, in the series Majors technically played a different version of the villain, but there I had a feeling that the actor was overplaying a lot. Here - everything is as it should be. It's good that in the end they abandoned the original concept of making a local version of Kang, pouring jokes right and left. Majors manages to calmly threaten physical and moral violence more than to get hysterical and make faces. Very convincing. You willingly believe that this person has beaten someone in his life, yes. If the Majors are canceled (albeit fairly), it will probably even be a shame. The man clearly just got into the taste and could pull the main bad guy a few films ahead.
In a review of Black Panther 2, I wrote that effects specialists complained about how they threw all their strength at Wakanda, and resources were allocated to Ant according to the residual principle. So, if in Wakanda it is not visible at all where the money and time have gone, then the Ant does not look like it has been restricted in some way. Unless, perhaps, one character already named above would look less caricatured. Anyway, my respect to those responsible for graphics and other special effects. I don't know how they got out, but obviously not night scenes, as it was in Black Panther. Everything is done - my respect.
"Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania" - a bright adventure in a beautiful world. This is exactly the kind of fantastic spectacle with such charismatic heroes, strange minor characters and a convincing villain, and it is with this proportion of comedy, drama and action that you usually expect from high-quality Marvel products.
Rating: 7 John Carter from Mars out of 10
I liked the previous parts more))
