The creative duo responsible for the dilogy of "Obnoxious bosses", gorgeous "Night games" and restarting "Vacations", again showed a master class.
It's very funny - I laughed regularly and a lot, it's rare for me now. Very spectacular. Yes, sometimes weak special effects slip through, but the film also has a budget, as I understand it, not the level of the Hobbit. At the same time, all the action scenes are filmed with fiction and are remembered (at least remember the druid's stealth mission and penetration into all sorts of interesting places with the help of a teleporter for a long time).
A bunch of non-annoying fanservice: Icewind Dale, Neverwinter, Baldur's Gate, all sorts of races, references - everything is present. Moreover, I'm not a fan of the setting (or rather, I don't understand it very well), and I'm sure that a lot more has passed me by. At the same time, the work is self-sufficient. No knowledge of the world is required at all.
The plot is classic in the best traditions. However, Marvel did not notice the stupidity and logical inconsistencies in the style of the last trilogy of Star Wars and films. There are turns that, like, even in trailers, they couldn't merge. With all this, it's heartfelt - at least, the main character's storyline.
The party members are memorable. Even Michelle Rodriguez, who, like the crocodile Gene, always plays herself, here, in addition to the boy-woman, shows a funny side (she reminded Tormund of Game of Thrones with her specific preferences). Well, when they finally finally work as a team, it's a pleasure to watch. It is also impossible not to mention Hugh Grant. Charming devil.
A movie for a fun evening about a company of adventurers traveling in the name of the good purpose of saving the daughter of one of them and a lost relic. It is banal just as much as the genre of humorous fantasy requires. Yes, there are quite a lot of cliches, but they are easily and humorously played out. The main archetypes of the game are collected, when each one appeared, I poked the screen with my finger and exclaimed something like "Look, paladin, this is paladin!". Excellent cast, Chris Pine made me happy once again. And I was no less pleased with the lack of a direct agenda and propaganda of who knows what and why. Only the simplest human values are family, love, friendship.

And here, I look at the top reviews and overestimate expectations, which was dangerous, but oh, from the first 10 minutes I like everything, it's cool to immerse myself in ENT, teenage humor like guardians of the galaxy, the actors are nothing cute and only the plot plot is weakest, well, give the robbers an unnecessary daughter, not even your own and money and they'll leave, they don't really care about this city, nooo. You have to be a bad bad guy. But oh, it somehow works for me, because then they kind of hint to us: hey, we're in Skyrim, the Witcher or any other RPG, we're going to explore the world and collect a new tim" - and I'm like, hooray, go ahead.
And it was keck as a fan. After all, every hero reveals himself, new characters are interesting, and the world seems to really live. Sofia Lillis conquered my heart with her beauty, if only girls were really born with horns.
There are so many memorable scenes, then the meme moments in the cemetery, the chase of Doric from the guards in the form of many animals, or the appearance of the best African character in the history of fantasy performed by Reg-Jean Page, he is noble, cool and Kajita saves the cat, ah well, what kind of MAN I want a solo album about him UV UV.
