Everyone has a different attitude to this, but I didn't like how long they stretch the last syllable, and this is repeated several times in the film.
However, this is nothing compared to the dog. Why is it needed? Really, why? He didn't come in handy in any way during the course of the plot, but he spoils every scene in which there is. The whole drama is negated by his presence, and I'm not exaggerating. The scene where a man alone is faced with the mistakes of the past and present alone, and where he faces problems with a slobbering dog in the background feels completely different. Well, they added a dog, but why take him on a time trip! The fact that we didn't know for sure if Scrooge was really traveling or if it was his dream gave the picture charm, but here they tell us directly "It's all true, it doesn't strain the brain".
