The Magicians Nephew/The Chronicles of Narnia from Netflix. Movie 1 2026

I liked the third movie more than the second, but in my eyes, nothing can surpass the first part. It's a relatively short story of only 1.5 hours, packed full of interesting encounters.
CGI regarding the second film seemed to be tightened up, which made watching Reepicheep and Eustace the Dragon even more enjoyable. In general, all the characters go through the arcs of growing up, and it responds with some kind of longing in the soul.
The end is probably one of the most heartwarming of all three films. The realization that you won't be coming back... It's painful. And we won't be going back with the Pevensey kids unless we use books.
I absolutely do not understand the claims about the "allusion to the Bible", when it has long been known that Narnia is literally the story of the Bible and the creation of the world for children. And as long as faith and its rituals are not imposed, they are not forcibly leading someone to a temple, I think this is a very interesting way to at least get acquainted with such a topic. Moreover, if you really want to, you can ignore all references and hints with a clear conscience and focus directly on the magical world and adventures.
