Description
Instead of flying to Florida with his folks, Kevin ends up alone in New York, where he gets a hotel room with his dad's credit card—despite problems from a clerk and meddling bellboy. But when Kevin runs into his old nemeses, the Wet Bandits, he's determined to foil their plans to rob a toy store on Christmas Eve.
Кста работники в отеле тоже хорошо отыграли.
Oh! Trump 😂
Kevin is a pretty decent kid: he asks permission before jumping a bomb
Poor messenger - he was so bruised with
Cliff.
Who else always counted the number of traps at each viewing ?
Was such a lot of money left in the store in those years? Was there no collection service?
And of course the most interesting part begins - the traps. I am sure that if it were not a children's film, the criminals would have died long ago (see Cruel Night) 😅
I have two disadvantages to this film, namely:
1) There are a lot of self-replays with the first part. From this, the wow effect is slightly reduced.
2) Some traps for Marv and Harry are too cruel. Especially the shooting of bricks from the roof and the electric shock. Marv got it all, poor Marv...
But of course there are more advantages. I will highlight three main ones:
1) The caste has not changed, it is cool. I admired them all with great pleasure.
2) For the moment of Kevin's meeting with mom near the Christmas tree, I forgive all the flaws in this part. This is a simple and very cool moment.
3) Sincerity. Yes, there are many repetitions from the first part. Yes, you know about what to expect from the heroes, they won't surprise you anymore. Using the example of a grandfather with a shovel and a grandmother with pigeons. Just like a carbon copy of the characters. But you look, and you smile. You look, and you believe them.
It's probably a good thing that there wasn't a third film with this cast. But always, when I finish watching the second part, I think differently.
