Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)

I liked the second part more than the first. Mainly because of the perception of her in childhood. At that time, I was both terrified and fascinated by the scenes with the devilish liturgy of the cultists, which introduced me into a semi-trance. I wanted to stare at the same time, without taking my eyes off, and turn away, afraid to see something incredible. The scene of the heart being ripped out was just scary as hell..
Such feelings have stuck in my memory.
Now, as time has passed, it's not the screaming Willy that annoys me the most (like a good majority of people whose comments I've come across), she annoys me, but without her, that legendary dinner scene wouldn't look so epic. And the fact that this film is riddled with a racist thread..
In general, reviewing paintings from childhood is a thankless thing. Those emotions can no longer be experienced, but they are forever stuck in my memory with warm lights.

As a child, I could watch this part on repeat, there are so many interesting and funny things in it.

The best adventure franchise of those years, as for me.
Then there were others, in some ways better, in some ways worse. But Indiana has settled in my heart forever.
I like that all the attention is paid to adventures, there is almost no romantic line, but there are as many unexpected plot twists as you like. It looks interesting even now, when you know the movie almost by heart.

I don't really like the subject of cults and the like, but in this movie it's pretty well played out))

It's a pity that I didn't get to know this franchise sooner(

The beautiful and darkest film of the trilogy (parts 4 and 5 are not considered), is quite out of a certain general outline of the series, so it seems, if not superfluous, then too self-sufficient for general perception. I have mixed emotions about the second part, although it is clearly better than... (do you remember the brackets above? Well, that's it)

Very naive, and sometimes even childish. The first part was much stronger in the plot plan.
