Overview
A prequel to the first two Underworld films, this fantasy explains the origins of the feud between the Vampires and the Lycans. Aided by his secret love, Sonja, courageous Lucian leads the Lycans in battle against brutal Vampire king Viktor. Determined to break the king's enslavement of his people, Lucian faces off against the Death Dealer army in a bid for Lycan independence.

As far as I understood, Lucian appeared and was able to control his transformation due to the fact that he was born to a lycan who used to be a woman, and pregnant. The relationship with Sonya was clear after he saved her or when they met a couple of times at the palace. Because of this, they got feelings, but it's strange that her father killed his own daughter, although he could have killed a born hybrid child and Lucian, but he killed his daughter. His stupidity is off the scale and he still believes that he did
The only thing that is still the origin of feelings between Sonya and Lucian has not been revealed:(
Starring Michael Sheen - what could be better? In the first part, there was very little of it, as for me.
An insanely charismatic character. This story reveals him not just as the leader of the Lycans, but as Victor's victim and some good in this saga.
Victor is still amazing. No matter how much of an asshole he is, how good he is.
Well, Rona Mitra in the role of Sonya is very good. It's a pity that she wasn't shown in the first part, but if that actress had been taken here, she would have been as uncompetitive as possible to Selina, and Rona copes well with the role of the second sex symbol of the saga.
Separately, of course, it is absolutely impossible to ignore the return of Kevin Grevier to the role of Raise. How powerful he is, how strong his paws are
In general, while the two supreme vampires are sleeping, Victor is messing up again, losing control of the werewolves for the first time, and creating the main enemies of his race, I wonder how Marcus did not finish him off for this, creating another arch-ally for himself, in general, it is clear that Marcus has his cockroaches, and xs, that It was only after the deaths of Victor and Amilia that he became so obsessed with finding his brother. Apparently, it turned out to be more important for him to look for the amulet from his father and Selina than from Lucian.
It turned out that in the prequel everything goes according to the well-known scenario, where Victor's daughter should burn, and the fruits of enmity should explode like a powder keg, which makes mistakes visible, but still the story becomes less intriguing and rather based on the tale of Romeo and Juliet, who are not destined to be together, and where the revolution of slaves — rather, the pre-conflict inside the palace intrigues and stupid decisions of lovers.
With my budget, everything paid off, and the sequel was worth waiting for soon, and of course, I'm kind of glad that even such a bold decision to go back in time to the Middle Ages was able to pay dividends and give all the authors a chance at new projects, and proving that naturalism in makeup and stuntmen don't eat their bread in vain, and that with With the right approach, there is a place to dig up a fan base.
The story was just expanded, but I also saw this from the expanded version of part 1. And it was nice to see this healthy warrior. In part 1, he's kind of dumb and the hero of the Tire pushes him around just like that, but now at least it's clear why.
Well, yes, Rona Mitra (Sonya) for some reason did this poor lip plastic surgery and ruined the facial expressions of those lips. Sadness. There were no more roles after that.
Victor is the worst father
