The zone of abnormal activity and everything that happens in it is a 100% copy (or reference) to the Strugatsky novel "Picnic on the side of the road ". This is especially hinted at by doll people who have returned to their families after death.

Anyone who found the arrival of " not boring enough, and the actions of the characters in "Prometheus " unnecessarily logical, can be safely recommended for viewing.

P.S. The film may contain scenes with a mutant bear

Фильм очень понравился, после него посмотрела "Солярис" Тарковского, как и парочку других фильмов, и была весь день в трансе.

The film was shot based on a book in my opinion, I haven't read it, I can't compare it. But I really liked the film itself, a great picture, a lot of creepy and tense moments ... especially at the end …

An interesting movie, I love this kind of slow fiction with horror elements. But the top of it all is the soundtrack. It fits perfectly with what is happening.

From associations, it's like Tarkovsky's Stalker mixed with Lem's Solaris and Lovecraft's Color from other worlds.
