Jude Law in this movie is just wow, it's impossible not to fall in love! <3
I can't help but note that Cameron Diaz is an incredible beauty here! 😍
10/10 most likely I will reconsider
Although, probably, this film can be described in one phrase: "In life you need to play only the main role!"
And "if you were a melody, I would take only pure notes" — well, how can you not melt into a smile?
Thanks to the film for the motivation, thanks for the tears of happiness.
Yes, the plot is predictable to the point of toothache, but the charm is irresistible. Myers knows how to build comfort like a superpower: garlands, snow cottages, scenes like postcards, only with a Hollywood cast. The timing is slightly overblown (136 minutes is like an extra cookie for tea), but you watch and still swallow with pleasure.
Jack Black seems like the strangest choice for a romantic story, but his good nature works. And Jude Law... well, there's not even a need to explain, half of the audience is mentally registered in his cottage.
Afterword: corny? Sure. But sometimes you don't need cynicism — you need garlands, cocoa, and Cameron Diaz, who is crying in a luxurious mansion.
I'm adding it to my personal review list.
