While You Were Sleeping

One of my favorite New Year's movies. Light, naive, but very warm and positive. Charming characters (I really like the couple performed by Bullock and Pullman), good humor, a sense of wonder. In general, the perfect New Year's romantic comedy for me, I watch it almost every year. The only thing I like is the old translation from ORT, a lot of jokes and touching moments are lost in the new dubbed one.

These romcoms of the 90s and 2000s are, of course, incredibly charming and no one else does this, but it's understandable. To get married three months later, even after a coma, in the hospital, without remembering his bride, and of course there are no twists and turns in life, love is one and for life. That's why it's a light story, but I guess I've become too callous. It's unreal that Lucy is a good girl. And it's unrealistic that everyone loves her at the same time and no one drives her (almost).

Sandra is incredibly charming, and I've always really liked this actress.

I won't say that the movie is bad, but you can watch it once. It's warm, but sometimes it's just tediously incomprehensible. What did the main character really want, and is this "Love" there?

It's a cool, calm, light, warm, romantic movie. I couldn't stop being touched by the young Sandra Bullock, I hadn't seen her like this for a long time. I recommend it for viewing in winter

If you choose the most favorite of all the 90s romcoms, "While You Were Sleeping" will be in the first place. For the characters, the plot, and the humor. Where there are no really bad people, there are circumstances at most, where love is once and for all, where a family can be found at any age and everything is just fine, and maybe even great. I love this movie with all my heart.
