Description
Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran, brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks and his rookie partner take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
The latter behave stupidly and constantly sweat
Chris Rock as an actor is terrible and constantly squints
The movie is about cops, not about a Saw. Traps for a total of 10 minutes of the film. Everything else is a cliched bullshit about a lone cop. The main character is purely Osmosis Jones from the cartoon of the same name.
Zeke is all such a proper cop that no one likes (in the sense of colleagues). It is he who is conducting the investigation. The film has no close connection with the Saw. It is only at the end of the film that parallels can be traced.
In the movie "Saw" everyone has their own chance of salvation. In the same movie, there is simply no such chance. I doubt very much that you can somehow get out of these traps alive.
this is not the same saw anymore.....
