A series about Amer was recently released. The pilots are the Lords of the air, where some Persians will be captured. so I decided to watch the Big Escape and review Stalag 17. which is also about pilots in captivity. Together with the Bridge over the River Kwai, this is the big three films about prisoners of war.

Steve McQueen is the Tom Cruise of that era. A superstar who did most of the stunts himself, and then on a motorcycle.
