Description

Forced to face the cruel side of life, a devastated, bankrupt merchant chances upon the enchanted castle of a hideous creature, the mere sight of it chills the bone to the marrow. There, a fate worse than death awaits the poor father-of-six, who, after plucking a sweet-scented rose from the repulsive master's verdant garden, must do the impossible: permit his compassionate daughter, Belle, to take his place and pay for the sins of her parent. Now, an impenetrable mystery shrouds the haunted mansion, and, as repugnance gradually turns into affection, only true love could break the spell.

A man could have everything: a wife, a son, good looks and a life if he kept his promise to his wife not to kill a deer. I think they deservedly turned me into a monster. Here, unlike the Disney movie, I did not feel sympathy or sympathy for the monster from the word at all

Visually: a very beautiful film adaptation of the fairy tale 😍😍

The plot is slightly supplemented with other details.

Exquisite French cinema, where the fairy tale comes from. I've reviewed it several times and each time it has a pleasant aftertaste. Lea Seydoux is so sophisticated and beautiful in the role of Belle. And the Monster really was like that for most of his life, and he paid for it. A beautiful film, better than a Hollywood adaptation, not deservedly deprived of attention.
