Description
Joel Barish, heartbroken that his girlfriend underwent a procedure to erase him from her memory, decides to do the same. However, as he watches his memories of her fade away, he realises that he still loves her, and may be too late to correct his mistake.
In addition, I thought about the fact that the moments lived with some people are damn important, there is no need to rush to burn bridges and it is worth enjoying and cherishing the moment, my friend,
because it can be truly beautiful and unique, but most likely you will understand this only when it is a piece of memory of the distant past.
The story of K. Dunst in general 💕
The picture was shot, for me, gently, calmly, with a soul. From the middle of the film, the thought flashed "and what... if the beginning of the film is not...?" After watching it, I want to think about my past, about the people who hurt you, did I erase my memories? Have I erased all the lessons I've received? A couple of good moments?
It is a very strong act of Mary that she returned the opportunity to choose: to know that someone has been in their lives for a long time and left such a big and dirty mark that he has already crossed out everything.
Would I erase the memories? In the case of one person, I really want to, because it was a small incomprehensible ugly period that tried to be worked out by conversations, but this person did not grow up and later behaved very ugly, although we established communication and talked everything through. But I understand that it will get easier over time and it's really a great experience to talk and eventually leave when everything crosses the line. Plus, I've become less amorous. And thanks for that
It was a wonderful 2 hours. At first you think: "Like a waking dream", then "maybe it wasn't a dream"
First of all, that you need to be able to let go. People, love, relationships. And let go on time! Until all the good things that happened inevitably begin to take on sad shades in memory, because the "present" is rotting and crumbling.
And the most important thing is not to forget why you once said goodbye to something you loved so dearly, not to succumb to the tricks of our consciousness, which so likes to forget about the bad over time and remember only the good.
In general, the film provokes very interesting reflections on how cunningly our brain is woven. It happens that it was more often bad than good with a person, but still you wouldn't agree to erase the image from your memory for any price. It's very valuable.
For me, the seemingly happy ending of this picture is not like that at all. But neither Joel nor Clementine can be blamed for falling into the same trap again. They're in a special situation. The only hope is that in this attempt they will understand when to break up, and will not bring everything to the same bile.
It's not the first movie like this...
The film turned out to be special and has remained in my heart forever.
The year is 2025, and I'm still watching Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet play in this movie with the same adoration.
