In general, the film provokes very interesting reflections on how cunningly our brain is woven. It happens that it was more often bad than good with a person, but still you wouldn't agree to erase the image from your memory for any price. It's very valuable.
For me, the seemingly happy ending of this picture is not like that at all. But neither Joel nor Clementine can be blamed for falling into the same trap again. They're in a special situation. The only hope is that in this attempt they will understand when to break up, and will not bring everything to the same bile.
