"Chronicle", unfortunately, turns out to be not an ideal film - although it had the potential to become just a masterpiece or at least a cult movie for all time. But it can not be considered a failure, a failure, a failure in any way. Firstly, from a purely technical point of view, it was shot very, very well. Mockumentary here is closer to "Reportage " and "Monster " - that is, behind all the external pseudo-documentary, the skillful hand of the cameraman and director constantly feels. Due to the fact that the characters often levitate the camera itself, there is not so much annoying shaking in the tape, the angles and plans are very artistic and unusual. The special effects are worthy of all praise, the actors' performance is on the level. Secondly, the film makes you think both during viewing and at the end, which elevates it above the standard Hollywood production. As for logical mistakes and absurdities, then, alas, we have to put up with it. A fly in the ointment spoils the sweetness of honey.
