Thoracic surgeon Evgenia Belyaeva has one month to prepare for a flight to the International Space Station, where she must operate on a crew member. Will she be up for the challenge? Can she overcome her fears and insecurities? Will she be able to perform the complicated surgery in zero gravity, and give the cosmonaut a chance to return to Earth alive?
It was also very interesting to look behind the scenes of the ISS and Roscosmos.
I watched it in the cinema, and I did not regret it - the views of space are very beautiful, although the scenes of operations were a little unpleasant to me personally.

I'll start by saying that this year I am happy with the new products of our films.
And, "Challenge" was no exception!
"Challenge" is the first and hopefully not the last shot Russian film about space and about space.
The film is wonderful, with excellent acting, a wonderful and exciting plot, and the film was interesting and not boring, although the timing of the film is 164 minutes.
The plot of the film is simple, but I repeat that it is beautiful.
Wonderful actors starred in this film:
Julia Peresild, Milos Bikovic, Vladimir Mashkov, Elena Valyushkina and many, many good actors.
They played great, like other actors, and I think these are their best roles!
Also, I want to mention the excellent cinematography and views of space and the wonderful soundtrack, where all the songs perfectly complement the film.
The song of the singer Christmas Tree on the credits is gorgeous.
In general, I found only one advantage in this film, not the disadvantages!
As a result, the film "The Challenge" is a wonderful and not shameful best Russian film this year.
I consider it the best Russian film of the year, except for Cheburashka and Gone.

it was interesting to watch the facial expressions / looks of Overpowers, because these are living emotions. I liked the film, it's strange that it lags behind the Belarusian big-eared Shepherd in terms of fees, but it would be superfluous to give orders to the film crew.
I went to the cinema for a movie and the immersion is complete, a separate masterpiece - moments in space, in some places it takes your breath away.
For Russian cinema, the plot is quite atypical, something new, a lot of details about cosmonautics, which is also very captivating. The only drawback is probably that the plot was tightened, it's hard to watch because of this - about 3 hours.
But the film is definitely good, it's worth watching. Russian Russian woman I liked the quote at the end
. "Where there is a Russian woman, there is always an attraction."
Of course, everything could be filmed on earth, in principle, most of the film takes place on earth. Most likely, the actresses flew into space for the sake of real emotions, since being on earth, they don't believe they can play the emotions of flight and the feeling of weightlessness.
Against the general background of modern Russian cinema, even good, but completely incompetent public relations on budget funds initially discouraged many from going to it at all.
There would be less pathos in promoting the film and there would be much less negativity towards the film.

Трах! Ба-бах! Где-то случилась паника на бирже. Потом урезали финансирование, сократили программы запусков. Как тогда было на станции "МИР". И сменщик не прилетел. Самый продолжительный полёт в истории.
Или научно технический прогресс и вся эта техника. И отправят на орбиту вместо тебя робота. Как те американцы. Программу Шатлов отменили, а новую не запустили. И Россия чуть ли не десять лет одна тащила всю пилотируемую космонавтику на планете.
Или жёсткая медицина. Раз и однажды тебя не допустили к полётам, потому что в длинном, длинном списке, один показатель вышел за допустимые рамки.
Что дала эта негоция для космонавтике? Как мне объяснили:
- была отработана подготовка экипажа по ускоренной программе;
- и вроде как в первые, на нашем трехместном "Союзе" летели с двумя "туристами".
Почему снимали такой фильм? Да по тому что могут!

The sound of a warning signal, with musical notes, in scenes with an airplane flying laboratory. Thick hints about the armored train on the siding. For example, in conversations it flashed that the cosmonaut who fought! The surgeon, gritting her teeth, no matter what, is fighting for the patient's life. In the end, Julia Overcame the beautiful. :-)
The camerawork on the ISS is cool. Just a technical feat! I don't remember in any fiction that they could think of such a thing. The place is small. Everything is doubled and divided. Some wires, hoses, ducts, cylinders, cans, boxes, lenses. Bags are flying. Cramped! :-)
You won't find it in the movie. No tantrums, as you know where, with throwing furniture into glass walls. No rot, as you know where, to cover your w@@@. No actions of the heroes, for the reason: "Yes, he is crazy".
An astronaut reads a poem. The strongest reference to that two-part documentary. But for sure: "Yura, we have improved ".
After watching the movie, everyone will want to become astronauts! :-)

I also think that, in general, the idea of making a film in space is very interesting, because they mostly flew for the purpose of studying, and here astronauts can be trained in a short time, you never know what specialists will be needed there, and maybe doctors will be able to operate.
