At first, you think that this is some kind of space thriller, but it turns out that this is a kind of meditation film that you can not even watch, but listen to. In the Ukrainian dubbing, Gannush's voice is very pleasant, it calmed me down so much🥰

To be honest, I did not understand why the localizers did not like the original name "Cosmonaut", that they changed it so absurdly, but I have long doubted the adequacy of these comrades, so let them. Adam Sandler usually plays in comedies and they are either funny or lame. This time he decided to try himself in a serious movie, for a change. It turned out not to say badly, Sandler did an excellent job, but the film itself, which is also based on the book by Yaroslav Kalfarzh, came out rather vague and overly dramatic. Yes, you can understand a wife from whom her husband "ran away" into space, she has a grudge and all that kind of stuff and she wanted to sneeze at humanity as a whole and at this guy who is all alone for five hundred million kilometers — the main thing here is her feelings. Well, she bucked. Well, what about it? After all, it's not a war where husbands have been waiting for several years, but an astronaut to overdo it somehow. The alien, whom Yakub named Hanus, does not really understand these squiggles of human emotions, but tries to somehow cheer up Yakub, it turns out that it is funny, then sad. And so the whole film is like this, it is thrown from extreme to extreme, there are a lot of flashbacks and the flight, in fact, turns into a psychotherapy session in which the cosmonaut highlights the main thing for himself. Well, as it seems to him. In my opinion, they overdid it. I don't know what was in the original source, but the film turned out to be beautiful and (for me) silly. I will not recommend it, I like the melodrama in the space environment — take a look. And no means no.

The film shows that each of us, as a particle of this vast cosmos, also strives to find our place and our meaning in this endless universe. It inspires us to think that our lives are just a small part of the big picture, and every moment is important. 'In space' reminds us of the greatness of the world and that the true meaning of life can be found in the search for knowledge, adventure and bold decisions. Unfortunately, it is underestimated by many viewers.

A good start and an interesting unexplored ent. Like the need to say the company's slogan before decontamination is strong.
But the plot as a whole is overly dramatic and does not stand out much. I'll forget the plot in a week.
