It turned out not to say badly, Sandler did an excellent job, but the film itself, which is also based on the book by Yaroslav Kalfarzh, came out rather vague and overly dramatic. Yes, you can understand a wife from whom her husband "ran away" into space, she has a grudge and all that kind of stuff and she wanted to sneeze at humanity as a whole and at this guy who is all alone for five hundred million kilometers — the main thing here is her feelings. Well, she bucked. Well, what about it? After all, it's not a war where husbands have been waiting for several years, but an astronaut to overdo it somehow. The alien, whom Yakub named Hanus, does not really understand these squiggles of human emotions, but tries to somehow cheer up Yakub, it turns out that it is funny, then sad. And so the whole film is like this, it is thrown from extreme to extreme, there are a lot of flashbacks and the flight, in fact, turns into a psychotherapy session in which the cosmonaut highlights the main thing for himself. Well, as it seems to him. In my opinion, they overdid it. I don't know what was in the original source, but the film turned out to be beautiful and (for me) silly. I will not recommend it, I like the melodrama in the space environment — take a look. And no means no.
