Watch the trailer for the second season of the crime drama "Tokyo Vice"
Ansel Elgort is at it again: streaming service Max has unveiled the trailer for the second season of the crime drama "Tokyo Vice", based on the memoirs of American reporter Jake Adelstein.
The action of the show develops in 1993. Journalist Jake Adelstein gets a job as a reporter at "Yomiuri Shimbun" — a major Japanese newspaper in English. He is taken under the wing of an experienced detective from the crime squad, through which Adelstein begins to investigate and document the corruption of one of Tokyo's police stations.
The second season of the project, created and written by Tony Award winner J.T. Rogers, was filmed in Japan's capital city. In it, Adelstein realizes that his own life, as well as the lives of those close to him, are in terrible danger.
The sequel will consist of ten episodes, the first two of which will be released on February 8. Further episodes will be released once a week.
