The trailer of the series "3 Body Problem" based on the novel by Liu Cixin has been released
Netflix has released a new trailer for "3 Body Problem", an adaptation of the first book of the science fiction trilogy "Remembrance of Earth's Past" by Chinese writer Liu Cixin. The project is being produced by "Game of Thrones" showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, as well as Alexander Woo ("The Terror").
"3 Body Problem" is the story of humanity's first contact with an alien civilization. In the story, scientist-astrophysicist Ye Wenjie is sent to a secret base in a remote area of China. The fateful decision she makes there in the 1960s is reflected in space and time to the present day and reaches a group of scientists who have to cope with the greatest threat in the history of mankind.
Ye Wenjie is played by Rosalind Chao, and the series also stars Benedict Wong and Alex Sharp. All eight episodes of the show will premiere in exactly two weeks on March 21.
