A trailer for "The Penguin" series starring Colin Farrell has surfaced
Streaming service Max has released a full trailer of the mini-series "The Penguin" — a TV spin-off of Matt Reeves' "The Batman". The main role in the project is played by Colin Farrell.
He plays gangster Oswald Cobblepot nicknamed Penguin. The series, whose action develops immediately after the final full-length "The Batman", will tell about how the Penguin came to power in Gotham, as well as the formation of his criminal empire.
Along with Farrell, the project stars Clancy Brown and Cristin Milioti. Showrunner is Lauren LeFranc ("Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."_, and the first three episodes of the crime drama was directed by Craig Zobel ("Mare of Easttown").
The series will have a total of eight episodes. The project will premiere in the fall, but the exact date is not yet reported.
