"The world will be a better place without humans": watch the trailer for "The Spiderwick Chronicles" with Christian Slater
The trailer of the fantasy series "The Spiderwick Chronicles" — a new adaptation of the book series of the same name by Tony Diterlizzi and Holly Black — has appeared online.
The project will tell about the children of the Grace family, who together with their mother move from New York to the ancient family estate Spiderwick. Here they learn about the existence of a fantastic world filled with magical creatures. And, it turns out, they need help.
The main roles were played by Christian Slater, Joy Bryant, Noah Cottrell, Lyon Daniels, and Mychala Faith Lee, and the project was developed by Aron Eli Coleite, who worked on the series "Daybreak" and "Locke & Key".
Book cycle DiTerlizzi and Black have already screened: in 2008 came out the movie "The Spiderwick Chronicles", directed by Mark Waters. The new project will premiere on April 19: on that day all eight episodes of the series will appear on Roku.
