CBS has shut down "CSI: Vegas" and "So Help Me Todd"

CBS has closed the drama series "CSI: Vegas" and "So Help Me Todd". "Vegas" lasted on the air for three seasons, and "Help Me Todd" — two.

Rumors that both projects were on the verge of being shut down surfaced earlier this week. Despite the fact that both shows have high enough ratings, CBS was not enough: this season, the other projects of the channel collect an even larger audience, and next year will premiere three new drama series, so for "CSI: Vegas" and "So Help Me Todd" there is simply no room in the CBS schedule.

But the good news is that CBS has renewed the series "Elsbeth" for a second season even before the first season finale. "Elsbeth" is a spin-off of the series "The Good Wife", which is about Elsbeth Tascioni. She is a shrewd but unusual lawyer who, after a successful career in Chicago, traveled to New York to help the police search for elusive criminals.

After the first 2-3 episodes of the third season of Vegas, I realized that the project could not be saved. He turned into a drag, almost all the characters are cardboard, and the end-to-end plot is not interesting. That's where he's going.
With "Elsbeth" it is still unclear. It seems to be fun and interesting, but the intrigue with the main plot has not been revealed: why was she sent to New York (investigation of corruption in Management?). Perhaps it will be found out at the end of the season.

Both series should have been closed after the first season. Todd actually mastered several episodes with a squeak: it's disgusting to look at a 30-year-old fool with the brains of a 12-year-old. I will watch Vegas all the way, but only out of love for the original series.

Vegas is so bad that even nostalgia for the original and the branches did not save it. Faded heroes except for a couple of minor characters, the lack of cases, the exploitation of fans' love for Grissom, Brass, Katya, Hodges, Sanders. No, a firm no, the first season was enough.
