Overview

I Love Lucy follows the antics of stay-at-home mom Lucy Ricardo as she tries to outsmart her Cuban band-leader husband, Ricky, and get into show business. Damn, Ricky is a manipulative asshole in this episode. Of course, we're talking about the 50s, they thought a woman's place was in the house, but damn! Lucy is an amazing comedian. Why couldn't Ricky really think of an option to stay and let Lucy work, especially since she's been dreaming about it all her life?
It makes you want to say "chauvinistic pig" when they blackmail Lucy into leaving.
