from the perspective that Ryan really went crazy, and invented a friend and all the other events based on his childhood memories when he lived with his mother in a sect.
In the end, he realized all this, but did not want to return to the real world, because of which he decided to commit suicide,
and realized that he was happy only in his imaginary world and his best friend.
Everything was explained and sorted out. Nothing supernatural, as it turned out. The story tells about the problems of one person and how he copes with them. There are many ways to overcome difficulties, and Ryan chose his path. When he was left with the support of his mother, who was sent to a hospital; when his sister was only involved in quarrels about one thing or another; when things were not going well at work, and his father was trying once again to take control of his life, regardless of his opinion; he created a friend with whom he It was comfortable. Is he crazy? Maybe. Or maybe not at all. Anyway, even though Ryan got into trouble, he was able to get out and eventually found his happiness, realizing everything and deciding to move on, accepting himself for who he is, with all his cockroaches.
The idea of a deity was interesting, of course, but still, mysticism is one thing, and psychology is another. I think that getting such an explanation is much better than finding out that it all revolved around some kind of sect.
I am completely satisfied with the ending. Thanks to those who worked on the series and made it so intriguing and, I would even say, exciting)
