And I am glad that so far they are exploiting the "gemini humor" quite moderately, they are not abusing it.
From the previously viewed, the life of the Mimi Maguire family from the original British Shameless 2004 is most reminiscent. https://myshows.me/view/810/
and in some places the Montebello family from The Straits https://myshows.me/view/23528/
The series has:
a sequel, a prequel https://myshows.me/view/45974/
The British remake https://myshows.me/view/22689/
The American remake https://myshows.me/view/5028/
The plot is rich in adventures, misadventures and a variety of events. Representatives of three generations of the West dynasty fall in love, quarrel and reconcile, drink, smoke weed and fuck, fight, suffer, cheat and do stupid things, try to engage in legal business and violate the law in all possible ways, in short, live an extremely busy life.
It's simple to install and remove, and the installation is tight. They play quite a lot, but the main thing is, nevertheless, a meaningful script, soundly and accurately staged mise-en-scenes and well-written dialogues. However, Anthony Starr, who played two characters at once, should be noted, especially in the episode when both twins portray each other. The main characters unpredictably change their points of view and behavior, choosing the most successful ones for maximum dramatic effect, which, in principle, can be perceived as a natural inconsistency of living characters and the development of their characters.
It turned out to be a daring, lively, ebullient and fascinating comedy drama, emotional, filled with unexpected incidents, turns and transitions from clowning to tragedy and back, all sorts of joys and nastiness, with ambiguous but vivid characters, with silly but cute cranks, with rude jokes, obscenities, scenes of sex and all kinds of inappropriate behavior, with very funny texts, sometimes extremely witty, and comical situations, sometimes just hilariously comical, and completely undeservedly almost unknown outside of New Zealand and Australia.
Language. They speak very difficult, not always intelligible, and often quite quickly. The New Zealand accent is not very noticeable, but there is enough slang and all sorts of local words and expressions. Subtitles, in my opinion, are necessary, especially since there are a lot of really great lines.
And in my opinion, sorry, Loretta is very sexy. I don't mind watching it at all :)
