So how do you force yourself not to judge and treat Sarah with respect? She insisted that her husband make a baby for the maid, then she went around with a sour face all her life, looked askance at the child and the maid, and eventually drove them out into the desert. Well, what good can you say about it?
Wow, Hollywood Abraham, how he chopped everyone into cabbage....)) They overdid it a little) Okay, angels, something else, but the patriarch...
the absolute plus is that the biblical characters appear to be very, very real people, visible, real.
I really didn't like the preview, it was too long and detailed, and since everyone knows the stories, they also showed all the most important things, what to watch for the remaining 37 minutes?

Herod is simply breaking records for stupidity of behavior and miscast. But I really liked Maria. And Joseph, who was unexpectedly spiritual..
But why was it so perverse? Joseph wasn't really acting like a jerk. He was engaged to Maria, but when he realized that she was expecting a child, he wanted to let her go quietly, without publicity, thinking that she loved someone else, and did not accuse her. And people didn't blame her, no one knew. And in Bethlehem, Joseph searched for a house, but found only a stable, because because of the census the city was crowded and all the houses were already occupied, and not because Mary began to give birth right on the road. It doesn't seem like such significant little things, but they are terribly annoying.
Okay, black Samson with dreadlocks...But why does John the Baptist also have dreadlocks?? The popular hairstyle of the ancient Jews...
the birth of Jesus, the baptism and the meeting with Peter are very beautifully done...And Jesus is well chosen, a great actor. I've liked this episode the most so far.
