Overview

@reaver1: Don't be embarrassed. There were many dark-skinned men in the Roman army. They could not become patricians, but they could easily make a career in the Roman army. It is enough to recall at least such a famous commander of the Roman Empire as Hannibal, who was blackish.

The best episode is definitely about how the queen's brother took a shit in the river and two Romans caught parishes in a neighboring hut.

@dandru31: Negroes in the Roman army, of course, could have been and were, but Hannibal was a commander during the Roman Republic, not the Empire, and, being a Carthaginian, had Semitic features rather than Negroid (although there are no authentic images, of course).
