A quick explanation of the first episode: Ren Amamiya is accused of assault. He is charged with a criminal record, but he gets off with a correctional term in Tokyo. With the help of an obscure application on their phone, they are transported to a parallel world (in this case, to Kamoshida Castle). And Ren makes a deal with Persona.
If a person is attracted by a very strong desire, he creates a "Castle" for himself./The Palace" and hides his desire there. And if this is a desire to steal, then the person will change, realize his wrongdoing and confess his crimes.

I hope I've clarified a bit.

@CmMonster: So by the 50th hour, everything becomes more or less clear, but at the very beginning... you're sitting there with your mouth open, your eyes are like two saucers, game is happening on the screen, it's not clear, but you can't tear yourself away.
It was excellent. ༼ ༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ༽

@CmMonster: It would be worth investigating. Although the adaptation is good, it doesn't feel comparable during the game. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, speaking from my own experience. As soon as the plot reveals all its cards, the magic immediately dissipates. But! If there really is no way to play in the near future, then you can still watch, because I understand how impatient I am to find out what will happen next. But I strongly recommend that you play and finish it, you really won't regret it.

if you don't know that there will be a sequel, then it will pass for an epic and atypical ending!
