s01e03 — Stay Close, Stick Together

It's nice that the series is starting to take off

So how does Smurf get adopted? And Jay is Baz's son?

Some kind of law for the Sons of Anarchy, but so far very weak.

Something got boring on the 3rd episode. The movements are 0. Some kind of yawning family gatherings. I actively reached out to rewind...

Smurf. It seems like Smurf is processing Jay, all so sympathetic, making gifts, blurring the boundaries of freedom, why do I have the feeling that she forms a sense of guilt, gratitude and dependence on Jay and will demand a lot in return. We don't know the backstory of Smurf yet, apparently she had to grow up quickly and become tougher, hence her parenting methods, which she considers normal to just throw a child into the water and let the instinct of self-preservation decide what can't help but scare. It's a pity for Catherine, it's hard to resist, and even explain something to such a person.

Catherine. She just wants a quiet life with her husband, so that his family does not get in, wants to put a fat line between them and protect her family (daughter and husband), for Smurfs she is already considered ungrateful, apparently owed her the fact of her existence in this family. It's a good thing Catherine didn't take Pope's money, so all is not lost yet. It is unclear why Baz hides the money if his wife needs it so much.

Jay. For the umpteenth time, he was almost drowned, but he's fine, everyone's fine, .. eh, the boys are messing around :)
Looks like he's managed to earn Pope's respect for a long time..

Well.. There are many problems. The mother formed them dependent and seems to create competition among the boys, and since they have a strong dependence on her opinion, the motivation is the same - to grab more love and approval from mom. Baz created his own family, but he considers the Smurf house to be his home, he did not make a reservation then. It's amazing how the Base manages to live in two families, and everyone seems to be normal.

"will the one who holed her son live happily ever after?". is it okay that this is a policeman who performed his direct duties, to whom she will run for help at the first danger? It was taken out.
