About 10 years ago, I saw Jude Law for the first time in the movie "The Talented Mr. Ripley", then I thought that such a handsome man could not be talented at all and not do anything supernatural in the frame. But then... I watched "Handsome Alfie", etc. Damn, well, what a talented guy he is after all! Charming, charismatic! And his age only makes him beautiful!

A kangaroo walking in the park was lucky with the climate in the Vatican :)
I'm at a loss to guess what the hidden meaning behind the kangaroo image is ...
The opening credits of each episode are just as pleasing as the series itself.
The gray cardinal's best tool is blackmail, just like in the world.

@915329rita: I think the hidden meaning of the kangaroo is the absurdity of its presence in the palace. The young pope is like this kangaroo to neither village nor city with his radical thoughts, actions and attitude towards the whole church.

I think it's pretty funny that Dad always has a cigarette. "I'm only interested in you," and then a lit cigarette. I don't know, there's something in it. "Dictate to me" @ break me completely.

Мало того, что добавили бомбическую заставку, так ещё и шикарную музыку на протяжении серии. Папа с сигаретой - эстетика кадра. Рада, что сюжет набирает обороты и смотреть одно удовольствие. От последней сцены аж плакать хочется, бедняга Гутьеррес.

Какая же потрясающая сцена встречи Эстер с Папой под Recondite. Даже не досмотрел серию, но восхищаюсь каждым кадром этого сериала и музыкальным сопровождением. А какое начало серии прекрасное, Джуд Лоу просто шикарный.

момент с булавкой просто потрясающий. Тут может быть аналогия, что все ждут "использование" булавки по назначению, открыв ее, а Ленни нашел "новое" свое применение, изменив форму "под себя"

@Felicitaskate: Я думаю булавка обозначала скрепы, "духовные скрепы", поэтому и отправили самого "древнего мамонта". Хотели вразумить, чтобы взыграло уважение к старшим, которое культивировалось с детства Ленни, церковь это же иерархическая структура. Но уже было поздно, для Ленни возможно это и срабатывало, а вот Папа уже "вертел" вас всех, "раздвинул" привычные рамки и надел на руку, мол "пока похожу, не понравится выброшу". Сериал с тройным дном, очень мощные пасхалки...

Благодарен природе за то, что я мужчина и могу оценить сериал по достоинству, а не основываясь (как большинство оставляющих здесь комментарии девушек) на сексуальных фантазиях с Джудом Лоу. А вердикт простой - полная хренотень. Папе не сопериживаешь, потому что он мудила. Все остальные персонажи блеклые и не интересные. Первый министр только хорош.
