s01e02 — Part 2

Something more interesting has not become compared to the first series. It's a so-so story.

The second series is more interesting after all. And the moment when the Cathars went to the bonfire with their chants, it just chilled to the bone. The words and motives are still ringing in my ears.

I only watched it because of Katie McGrath. The story is so-so, it didn't drag on.

Of course, the picture does not pull for the title of a cinematic masterpiece, but you can watch it. In some places, the meaning of the extremely protracted plot is hatched, there are (again, in some places) such moments that shock to the depths of the soul. But in general, it is worth watching only if there is no opportunity to watch something really worthy of attention.

the hack of the screenwriters is a sad result in the production.
They recruited some pretty good actors, gave out some kind of nightmare instead of a script, and that's it.
it is protracted, tedious, ill-conceived, with sagging plot moves. Oh my God, 3 hours of time is down the drain.

Of course, it's a little weak compared to the book. But in general, you can watch it once.
