A great episode, including how the captain guessed about Hickey. The dude was released at the wrong time. Does this thing suck your soul out too? Or what was it at the end?
PS. I hoped that Hickey would still be hanged, but I feel that he will also outlive everyone.
The series is great. I really liked the dialogue between Fitzjames and Crozier at the very beginning. Mentally so. Hickey is scum, but the psychologist is wonderful. He knew what to drip on to alarm people and instill fear and hatred in everyone. And how one must hate everyone but oneself in order to also order the cards to be burned! A slimy, disgusting man. I like that the captain guessed about Hickey (and how smartly he confirmed his guess!), but it's a pity that it won't change anything much already :( The monster looks a little silly, but if such a monster was rushing at me, I think I would give my soul to God quickly. Although, judging by the last frames, this four-legged dementor would have taken the soul...
The series is so high that I don't want it to end. It's been a long time since an episode has kept me in such suspense. How can I N-E-N-A-V-I-W-Hickey, the actor is well done. with each episode, there are fewer and fewer of them left... the monster just attacked some kind of incomprehensible mixture of a bear and a sloth :D
I really hoped that Hickey would be hanged, even though it wouldn't be according to the book, but it would make me sooo happy. It is very sad that Hickey's assistants have raised doubts in the hearts of the team. At the same time, they originated from scratch... After all, Crozier wanted to save the team (
Yes... Although historically it is believed that no one survived (I do not know how it is in the book), I would not be surprised if at the end they show us an aged "Hickey" sitting by a warm fireplace.
I really wanted Hickey to be shot without any blah, blah, but that would be too easy and not according to the rules. The actor coped with his task perfectly...disgust, hatred and dislike from that character.
It's strange that there are fewer comments here. After all, this is almost the most powerful episode of the season. [sarcasm]Apparently, the comparisons with the book have ended, or have the "readers" already forgotten what was there?[/sarcasm] Thank God the monster looks so cheap and ugly made: some kind of tailless unfortunate mix of a dog and a navy seal? After all, the series is really pulled by gorgeous actors who, in these three and a half sets, give out such performances that you forget about everything around you. Mysticism does not suit this series at all. No wonder even on imdb there are no "horror" or "mystery" in the genre column.
The last minutes of the episode immerse you in an atmosphere of utter madness. You can feel this sticky fog and goosebumps of horror and helplessness right on your skin. Bravo
