Well, I liked the story. A kind of harsh fairy tale with a happy ending. Of course, you can find something to complain about, however, right now, against the background of motley titles, Grandcrest came in and went very well. Despite all its severity, bloodshed, and (oh my God, how much whining there was) that very scene, it's full of teenage idealism. Fortunately, it is spherical and vacuum. I would probably even say that this is a classic fantasy. I will separately note the analogies of the type "battle = = painting a picture". For this, an extra plus to the final grade. There are a lot of characters that are quite difficult to remember all of them. All these lords, all these intrigues. Still, it's a bit not my profile. I like multi-passageways, but tied to logical chains. There's more politics here.
It turned out to be a kind of Game of Thrones, no other way. In general, it is well executed, beautifully drawn, well played. The main evil, however, in my opinion, turned out to be quite clumsy and boring - the war between the lords turned out to be much more interesting than the war of Chaos with light (a reference to the wretched last two episodes). If a couple of twists had been added to the end, it would have turned out to be just a top, but as it is, alas, everything is very predictable. Therefore, no more than 4/5 can be placed. It is definitely possible to watch, but whether it is necessary is not very clear.

In general. Overall rating: 4.6

Great anime from different angles anyway.
And also, of course, the absence of schoolchildren pleases))
