It's a pretty good episode, I liked that we were immediately shown the actions of the two sides. Moreover, if at the beginning of the series the balance of power was on Katra's side, then at the end it was on Adora's side, although it would be more accurate to say Glimmer. However, not without the help of Shadow Weaver, who more and more inclines Glimmer to her side, instilling the idea that the end justifies the means. Is it possible to risk friends to take the enemy by surprise? Yes, luck was on her side this time, but next time she might not be so lucky. And what kind of friendship is that when you're willing to put your friends' lives on the line? I think Shadow Weaver has her own motives, which we'll find out about soon. Katra still only cares about Adora. In this case, I would ask for a Double Trouble to turn into the last one for the evening, I think he would not mind for an additional fee. But seriously, if Katra hadn't been concentrating only on trying to break Adora with failures, Glimmer wouldn't have gotten caught. After all, it was the desire to see how Adora would get out of another mess that let her down. As they say, curiosity killed the cat. And Katra is looking for support in the wrong place, oh, not there. Double Trouble only cares about his "art" and money, but those who sincerely cherished Katra were Scorpius and Entrapta. But she pushed them both away. But it was Entrapta who convinced Khordak not to send Katra to the Beast Island, and in the end she got to it herself, although she considered Katra her friend. Scorpia's eyes are also opening more and more, that Katra only cares about Adora, and therefore there is no place for Scorpia in Katra's heart. And in the last episode, Scorpia tried her best to reach out to the last one, to help her cope with her worries, but Katra pushed her away. Katra is always blaming others for her problems, but she creates them herself. By the way, Glimmer didn't come back for Katra after teleporting the superbot. Does this mean that she intentionally left Katra to die under the rubble? Or they forgot to show us that Glimmer had returned, but Katra was already gone.
An interesting series! So far, I'm very much in favor of Sparkle starting to learn from the Witch of Shadows. To be honest, it may be dangerous, but so far it seems to me that the main vocation of a Witch is to teach, and wherever she is, she does it anyway. What's in the Guild of wizards, what's in the Horde, what's now. Maybe I'm wrong, and her methods are really controversial. but it's time for someone from a group of friends to learn strategy, because the cunning Katra played them out the whole series, until a similar plan was implemented in response. Risking friends may not be the best thing to do, but still, every battle is a risk for someone, even if they are all together, as seen at the beginning of the series. And Adora and the gang's favorite strategy of improvising and piling in together is often untenable. At first, I wanted to be outraged by the lousy Katra, who behaves like a bitch and to whom, despite this, even Double Trouble was imbued with friendship and affection (like seriously, you're a lucky cat, with such behavior and everyone loves you??), but the last minutes put everything in its place. I hope Katra remembers this too, because she treats Double Trouble more sincerely than she treats Scorpio and Trap, not noticing that Double Trouble plays exactly the kind of role that evokes positive feelings and emotional response in Katra. But real friends are not those who pour syrup into your ears 24/7, but those who are able to say something unpleasant for your benefit. I'm looking forward to when the guys spot the infiltrator (unfortunately, it's unlikely to happen soon, because none of them have much cunning and discretion there, unfortunately)
The Witch of Shadows is a natural teacher! It's so funny watching her hd Glimmer was the queen in this episode. Friends don't sacrifice friends, but queens give orders, and guards carry them out. It's a war, and she's the commander-in-chief, that's the role. It was a good plan, and I really liked it, although it's a little harsh for a children's cartoon.
