I felt so sorry for the King when he so sincerely wanted to help with demonic lessons, but Luz just waved him off. What a cutie he is😍

I always knew that giraffes are demons!)
I am pleased with a lot of funny little details, like a trap that "didn't give its best".

And the screensaver, I think, looks and sounds like a strange mix of "gravity falls" and "rick and Morty" screensavers :D

Oh, but it looks like the global plot has been hit, and I was just complaining in the last episode that some catchy detail was missing. And so, Ida's curse. Who imposed it? For what?
So far, it is only known that it was imposed a long time ago, perhaps when Ida was still in magic school. She studied, didn't I get confused? Maybe it's revenge to be jealous that someone was jealous of Ida's abilities in magic and cast such a terrible curse. Maybe she was competing with someone in her studies and this someone decided to punish Ida in this way?
In general, you can make a lot of guesses, while there are too few details. Maybe when Luz goes to magic school, and I bet that sooner or later in the series it will be, then maybe there she will find clues somewhere in the library to finally remove the curse from Ida.
Otherwise, it was an extremely cozy episode when everyone gathered at home because of the rain.

the phrase "you can live with the curse if you take your medicine on time" seems to touch on a certain issue) I thought about HIV, but maybe it's a reference to other chronic diseases.

when Ida ran after the King in the form of a monster owl, it directly reminded me of a similar scene with the Faceless One from Spirited Away 👺
