The secret room, the distribution hat, one magic per student, yeap, everything as we love!
PS: and of course only Ida wanted to study all kinds of magic, right? Although it's strange, it seemed to me that her sister Lilith also studied all kinds of magic...
I am very glad that Luz will study a little bit of everything. I'm already wondering what will happen next 😄
and of course a bunch of references to Harry Potter, so cute✨✨
To be honest, I don't quite understand how this system works with one type of magic. Just for admission, you need to be able to perform two spells. The same Willow and Gus when witchcraft always draw a circle of the same color and that's it. Does this count as owning multiple spells of the same type? And in the last episode, we were shown how Amity learned the fireball spell, and I highly doubt that this spell is the same type as the spawn summoning spell. It's just strange then, if everyone teaches only one type of magic at school, how can you even join the Emperor's coven, where all kinds of magic are used? Wouldn't it be more logical if students studied everything they wanted at school, and at graduation they had to link their lives with a certain coven? And so it turns out, it's unclear, because a student who studied potions will not be able to join the coven of illusionists, he will only be able to join the coven of potion makers. What is the choice then? It seems that the director said that students are allowed to change the direction of training, that is, you can have a semester here, a semester there, but if so, what's the point of not giving several directions in one semester to those who want to do it.
How then did Ida and her sister know all kinds of magic, and I got exactly that impression if it was impossible to study all kinds of magic at school? Again, I had previously assumed that Ida and Lilith wanted to join the Emperor's coven precisely so that they could continue to use all kinds of magic. Attentive viewers will correct me, because the director mentioned that Luz was not the first one who wanted to study everything, the red-haired Ida was the first. But he didn't really say how she was able to study them if this system doesn't allow it. And how did Lilith study them? In general, this school system clearly requires reforms.
I was hoping that Amity would be shown more in the series, it was funny to see how nervous she was about Luz studying at the same school.
And yes, how long will school take, Luz obviously won't be able to finish school in a couple of months or how much time she has left, because she's supposed to be in summer camp right now, and when summer is over, Luz will have to go home.
But in general, they are supposed to have some kind of magic pouch attached to their hearts, so it would be more logical to feed on the hearts of magicians :D
