s01e01 — Pilot

If you want to see something of high quality, watch the original British series: there the writers themselves came up with everything, lovingly played their characters, worked out a lot of details, secrets and intrigues, showed a gorgeous interaction between the characters, all with historical jokes, slang and everything that characterizes and suits their characters.
Here is just a pathetic parody, where a good idea was diluted with a bunch of toilet jokes, terrible acting and showed all the characters as stereotypically and falsely as possible. That is, according to the classics, they took something great and ruined it, and then advertised it so that everyone could see and praise them for the idea.
If you want quality, humor, a pleasant atmosphere, good drama and an interesting plot - do not waste time on this, admire the original 2019.

So far, the original is winning in my eyes, but in anticipation of the next season, if it happens at all, it's nice to watch the remake.

For the sake of interest, I looked and tried to evaluate it without prejudice, but it's like Russian parodies of foreign TV series, so.
The British TV series 2019 has wonderful characters, actors, humor, originality, I loved that series with all my heart and I advise everyone to watch it.

In the first episode, willy-nilly, you compare it with the original. And honestly, this series is worse. But I hope that they will leave the idea, and completely change the plot, I think then it will be fine.

I only found out about the original after watching the remake. Now I'm watching the original and I like the remake much more

The main characters are not attracted. Ghosts more or less. And so the series is not funny at all. A couple of jokes went in... maybe it will be better from now on.

I found out that this is a remake after I watched all the episodes. Now I'm watching the original, I think that the characters are written deeper there. Although the picture, well, the attractiveness of the actors is better in this 🥰

After the British, it seems somehow cut up. The plot is the same, but they cut out small fastening pieces and it seems as if they are in a hurry somewhere. It's also strange with ghosts, some were left, and some were replaced for some reason. Why is there a Viking and an Indian instead of a Neanderthal, and a burned commoner and a military man were combined into one aristocrat. The politician without trousers also absorbed the young aristocrat. The headless one came from another era, it's not bad. The British seem to have half of the 19th century. It's not clear how the hippy appeared at all, but it's also not a bad character, as for the clash of different eras. But I will still watch the British one. Here the main characters are too cardboard, wooden, shiny, as if from a picture, the British have them simpler and more lively.

I watched both the British version and the American one. Both are good and this is not a tracing paper, exactly there are differences. Therefore, it makes sense to watch both series. People who write under each episode that the original is better. OK, go watch the original. They just got it

I'm trying to watch the first episode and catch a wild kringe. if the casting manager was resting, and not working, then the screenwriters did not finalize it.

I'll give the series a chance and watch 1-2 more episodes. then I'll decide definitively whether to inspect or quit.

Something is not going on the series after the British one, everything is flat

I was looking for the original version on kinopoisk. And I found this one, saw Rose McIver and started watching. I missed her so much after "I'm a Zombie"

While it's going hard after the original, Vibe is not the same at all, and as if the acting is much worse. And it's very strange not to hear a British accent (But maybe I'll get used to it, you never know, so I'll look further. And, like many, I am very glad to see the actress from "I am a zombie".
