Crystal passed the audition awesome, and Jack is stubborn as usual, seeing nothing around except his Ace toy.
Jack's a shitty boss, that's right. He doesn't care about everyone, loses good fighters through his own fault, doesn't want to take cool new ones, puts only his brother at the forefront.

Jack is just a one-on-one dad, both of them look at Ace as a thing. The finale was beautifully combined with flashbacks at the beginning of the series. And it's a pity that Crystal decided to be good. Surely Gally would have found a place for her.
