This series breaks my heart. The Japanese have recently been giving out the wonders of cinema one after another. I can hardly breathe while I'm watching, it's so painful in my soul.
I would just add a few things to the list of worthwhile ones: Thailand (I told sunset about you+I Promised You the Moon, Theory of Love, Sworn Friends), Japan (His/His (2020 film), Taiwan (We best love 1,2), Korea (To my star)
@valeriakimchi: "I told Zakat about you" is literally a masterpiece of Thai cinematography in the BL genre. It's been a long time since I watched it, but my soul is still torn.
I bet this drama won't end well. And the characters themselves are doubtfully strange, and their relationship may be doubtfully strange. Warmth and love somehow don't even smell here.

Dorama is short, I think I'll finish watching, but so far I feel only a cringe. A lot of shame and... even disgust, probably. I understand Hira and sympathize with him, but it still makes me very uncomfortable that he allows everyone to treat him like that. I understand that it was his inner qualities, upbringing, relationships with parents and loneliness that influenced him. However... In real life, all this is rosy and with butterflies, a loving adequate guy, etc. does not end, or it is a chance in a million. Rather dependent/abusive relationships at best, or the same ongoing loneliness/ unrequited love. Stalker habits are also very embarrassing. Sweetness, though kill, but I do not see, and nothing warm in me does not respond, alas.
