It is not completely clear how Baldwin was saved. Well, did you bang - and? In general, the beginning of the season was more promising than the "Martian problems". Well, 2 more episodes, you can still change everything
@ArmyXomuiL: They also explained it in some detail. There was a bang from below, and the dust poured down through the hole into the lava tube, like sand in an hourglass. And the hefty module remained on top, and that's when they got close to them.
There are probably cinematic assumptions (they announced that the module is under 20 meters of regolith, and the lava tube is clearly not 20 meters high), but at least the solution is beautiful and elegant, adjusted for execution. No star trek gods from the car, just engineers doing their job.
@Kshishtof_A: I came across a study, like from Nasa, where simulations of such pipes were carried out in low gravity conditions, and the dimensions reached hundreds of meters wide.
@br1ella: I believe it willingly, I'm only talking about how this pipe was shown in the series. Visually, it looks like a subway tunnel (something tells me that it was filmed in it).
P.S. I recently read that such large lava tubes are the most likely location of a promising lunar base, because they protect against both extreme temperatures and cosmic radiation.
Is it possible to put pressure on the stomach when the abdomen is injured, and even more so with a fragment inside, are there doctors here? I've always wondered if the glass in helmets is really that fragile, or if it's a movie feature.
@br1ella: The glass for pressure masks is made of polycarbonate or analogues - high temperature resistance, the highest strength and it does not shatter into fragments. I think it's a movie stamp.
@br1ella: It is possible if necessary. There are only guts in the lower part of the abdomen, nothing terrible will happen. Well, it's one centimeter more to fix the intestines.
@Norton829: Are you sure you're a medic? As far as I know, all the first aid instructions say the opposite, because there is no illusory risk of opening even more bleeding.
@br1ella: Well, Google it, and it's amazing. If you sometimes have such questions, watch the series it's a feature film. anything can be there in a parallel universe)
@ARMANI9190: The questions are rhetorical and sarcastic, I know the answers. "anything can be there in a parallel universe)" -no, it can't, the laws of physics are the same, people too. Do not confuse fantasy and viola. the story.
@br1ella: Who told you that the laws of physics are the same? There are many universes, in one of them there may have been a cataclysm, or instead of the moon there is a whole planet nearby and other laws of attraction on the planet. Or humanity has been relocated to another planet with different laws of physics. An infinity of variations and outcomes. You think narrowly. What does fantasy have to do with it, did I write about elves? The comparison is completely off topic for you.
@ARMANI9190: A show with the alt. history genre is being discussed here, there are no universes with different laws of physics (if you knew at least a little about this topic, such nonsense would not be written). And everything I have written should be perceived in this way. If it's difficult for you to draw basic conclusions, you really have a mess in your head.
I was hoping for 2 plot moves. - Margot will allow Aleida to expose herself, so as not to cast a shadow on the "Margot girl", so that she could become the new director there. - Economic victory of the USSR + corporations. Neither one nor the other seems to be implemented. Overall, a very filler series. 3 episodes to the end, but so far even no global problem has been identified.
Half of the episode was waiting in horror for "Ed, Karen slept with me." Danny was close to it. In general, I liked the series, it's cool that the third season of this series does not give up positions (unlike some others), I'm very sorry for Nick and Alexey. The Lion Horn is beautiful, I rejoice at it on the screen!
It's all fun, of course, but how are the guys going to return to orbit? And if there is no return in the next couple of years, then leaving a child is a huge risk.

Lech feels sorry for me.
