@Noncorpum: considering that the series is called Glasnost, it seems to me that it was all about the collapse of the USSR. I think Margot will be made an important figure in Roscosmos

@ArthurSafiulov: I'm not ready to argue, but here in my opinion Margot will be the link that will help at the time of bad relations between the USA and the USSR.
However, this series is able to lead away in completely different scenarios.

It's just gorgeous! Did everyone recognize Daniel Stern? (The Robber from Home Alone 2)
Baldwin is clearly not going to leave space) Selfishness? Yes. But lives his passion.

P.S. Remind me, what happened to that crazy guy on Mars 7 years ago? I remember that he was only moved out separately.

@Fantom3D: well, in short, this idiot was stuck on a painkiller and several people died because of his trip and the drill exploded. Then he kept silent until it was believed that the dead man was to blame for this, but in and he did not when he was stuck with Ed and thought he was going to die, he laid out everything to him, including the affair with his wife

An excellent pilot, the main thing is not to lose the pace.
As they perfectly escape from fiction and alternative history into personal dramas and traumas, for this the scriptwriters bow to the floor.
I'm waiting for the whole season, I wonder what will happen to the guy who lied about the university, well, I feel that this good neighbor of the "USSR" will end soon.

With the start of the fourth season in my personal headcount, this series has now finally established itself as a prequel to The Expanse. Both series could perfectly coexist within the framework of a common universe

What a great start to the season! They made an awesome spectacular start with an asteroid.
But it's still unclear what the hell Margot is doing in the USSR. Is she there as who, how, why?
Ed was overdone with aging, it seems) But the voice, the voice is recognized immediately!
Kelly's "mother-in-law" is infuriating, why the fuck is she fucking anything at all.
An alternative story at the beginning... Damn, I need a list! Here we have: The Clintons divorced in the 90s, Weinstein was imprisoned back then, something about Tyson, something very narrow-minded, the president is on fire (after Ellen). What else?

@Aurora_B: Ed is a participant in the Korean War (1950-53), the pilot is usually less than 25 years old, so count it. He was born in the 1920s in the middle or the end...

@msev: I also thought about it and gave myself a couple of thoughts.
1. If you pull it, all the load will be on the cables and their fasteners. If you push, then the cables are only supporting structures, and the entire load from the ship is transferred to the asteroid through the central rod.
2. In case of any problem, it is much easier to undock the ship and slow down (although this is not necessary, the main thing is not to accelerate). Then the asteroid won't cause any problems. Unlike the situation when we dragged him along and dispersed him. In this case, you will have to accelerate the ship and take it away from the accelerated and flying huge stone. He doesn't have brakes.

In general, this episode is shown as if a stone is hanging in space, they flew up on a ship, stopped, attached cables and began to move. In reality, it flies at high speed and in order to harpoon it, it is necessary to synchronize the direction and speed of the ship and the asteroid very clearly. It was probably meant that way, but it looked unconvincing, somehow I did not notice the movement of the ship following the asteroid during the preparatory work.

To drag, you need to put the jet somewhere, it will stupidly destroy the meteorite, even with sooo long (and heavy) cables. Maneuvering is also more difficult in tow, it will drag you along. It's easier to maneuver when pushing

@msev: The asteroid did not turn out to be from behind, it just flew further, and the ship slowed down. The glowing dots on the ship are probably braking engines.

I just finished watching the third season yesterday, and there are already new episodes.
It's strange to look at the aged heroes who were there from the very beginning. Only Aleida with PTSD looks much younger, although there should be 10-15 years difference between her and Margot. Margot was turned into a Russian grandmother.
It hurts to watch Ed develop Parkinson's. No matter how he died in the last episode, performing his last flight.
The whole series had the feeling that this season was the last one to say goodbye.

Damn, what's the matter with discipline? As it began with the first season of "I didn't have enough for the Moon", so the unconventional risky decisions continue for all subsequent seasons. And after the story with Danny Stevens on Mars, it's not clear what Ed is still doing in space.

@porco: a typical cranberry in my opinion. I really like the series, but these inserts, where they clearly show Russians in a negative light, add a fly in the ointment...
And it seems to me that this increases from season to season.
In the first 2 seasons, they somehow kept the balance.

@Kaelar: the sad state of affairs is eloquently evidenced by the fact that, for all its disadvantages, this series is the most positive show of Russians for many years, up to the accusations of the authors of being bought by the Kremlin.
Dehumanization as it is.

This is a real rock'n'roller 15 years later)
I think that the most interesting storylines will be with a normal guy hard worker (Tobby Kebbell).

I'm glad that you mentioned shitheads and lesbians - I hope, according to tradition, they will raise this in each episode)
