Finally, Lamb told Catherine everything, and Cartwright said goodbye to his naivety. It is unlikely that in the first season he would have been so "prepared" for a meeting with his grandfather
I didn't get a poor friendship between Standish and Ho, eh))) But at least all the horses are alive and well, and thanks for that! If you don't take the endless bullets, the squint of shooting mercenaries and the fantastic marksmanship of the Slauhaus to heart, then the season is gorgeous! River was pleasantly surprised at the end, the guy is growing up, the idealization of his work is collapsing. If after all this, the Lamb department continues to be underestimated, it will be very strange, for the third time they still show themselves from a very wonderful side)) And it seems to be good that they immediately show the trailer for the next season, but on the other hand, how can we wait for it now???
I don't think it's long to wait, between season 1 and season 2 it took 8 months to wait, even though they came out in one year. And in this one, because of the different strikes, I think I came out later.
@DiKEY999: they have already filmed the 4th season, not for nothing, they showed a preview of what will happen next. they shot 1 and 2 together, and now 3 and 4. kmk, screenwriters, etc. were not particularly affected here, because they shot everything in England.
The shootout, infernal in its stupidity, helps not to forget that this is a comedy. How do the "nags" plan to work without Stand-up? The whole office was based on her.
Overall, the season is not bad. I liked that the whole batch was due to two vipers who fought over power, not disdaining any methods. MI5 almost devoured itself because of human greed, not to mention how many people died. The story with Webb is absolutely gorgeous - you worry about him at first, then you get mad and want to kill him, but you're completely shocked when he really dies. River, who got into the MI5 building. He can't help but get big at least once a season (I think I wrote about the same thing during the second season), but how exciting for him. This couple of clowns, whom Lamb fired in the process, made a good joke, and they even turned out to be useful in the end. Ho absolutely enchantingly drove the bus into the house, I laughed out loud))) Well, Lamb is in his repertoire as always))) I checked out his Kevin McAllister cosplay lol There are a lot of funny and useful moments. However, all this is seriously spoiled by a stupid brawl in the archive, where a crowd of special forces can not cope with a bunch of barely armed people. I literally wanted to shout Stanislavsky-style "I don't believe it!" every minute. Plus a whole bunch of last-second rescues. Well, guys, no one makes good TV shows anymore... I would much rather look at the mental work of Slowhousers. Nevertheless, I'm waiting for the fourth season))
It feels like I watched Operation Fortuna, to be honest. but I still love them, these horses with their super-duper marksmanship and ultra-mega story armor)
I'm not at all annoyed by their scripted armor, the series is not about that, and I don't want the deaths of the main characters, enough of Harper and worries about non-main characters like Donovan, Douglas. Respect Cartwright, kept his word, got rid of illusions, as well as Catherine, if she thinks carefully and guesses about the role of Lamb. Lam and ice cream are great.
That's it, this is the last straw, I'm going to read a book 😮💨 sooooo exciting! They've already filmed the next season! The series quickly became one of my favorites. at the moment with the bus, I started laughing out loud
I liked. It's quite fun. It's not terribly stupid at all. Sometimes it's damn witty. It's often very funny. "I don't think I want my job back this badly." or "Can you talk me through your thinking here?" - and this is offhand and only from this series.
Apart from the idiotic, formulaic, failed scenes with the cleanup, season 3 is gorgeous and loved. Involuntarily, my hands and face were doing "facepalm" when the special forces of intelligence, after the order to sweep the territory FROM EVERYONE, begin to tell which Iraq he fought in, and how he will kill her now. The scene with the cartridges running out for both heroes is also some kind of super-predictable epic fail, like in cheap action movies of the 80s. Even the weapons are held as if for the first time, judging by the technique in the frame, Donovan seemed to be the most professional with his 10 seconds of shooting. On the one hand, I understand that the screenwriters had to pull the characters out of this meat grinder, but to show the enemy (who has a job to clean and destroy) such worthless, it's in vain, of course.
I hope there will be fewer or no such shootings next season, since the series is very cool, even despite the "battle for the archive" and "lam home alone"
@s01e01: well, if you remember the office of the Tigers' superiors, full of Webb clones in terms of behavior, you might think that they most often hire similar fighters)) yes, even to look at Daffy: he must be a professional professional, but to prove his superiority over the man who refused you *dramatic gasp* is a holy matter, and let the whole world wait))
@captain_wood: Yes, these two "professionals" (the one who led the cleanup and one of the sticky bandits) were also slightly surprised by their professionalism. ever since the chase through the "office" for Cartwright, and in recent episodes it's generally a laugh. Judging by the movements, the only one there who had ever seen a weapon before the final take was Sean Donovan.
As for me, this circus spoiled the last series, but ice cream and Lamb saved from failure.)))
An excellent finale of a gorgeous series! Even the shootouts of the last two episodes did not spoil it at all. Ho also made me laugh, first with a pitchfork, and then with a bus)) Lam is also at his best, as always, and so are the others. We are waiting for season 4
Absolutely amazing series and season. I love Lam. "Did you use me as bait?" "What difference does it make, you're alive and he's dead" 😂 There are several moments in each episode that make you laugh. The crazy seizure of archives is quite in the spirit of the whole series. My favorite and such a rare genre is tragifars. A mixture of drama with humor and absurdity. The trailer for the fourth season caused a storm of joy, I did not know that there would be a sequel. I'm looking forward to watching this gorgeous series from time to time when it ends. He's one of the best for me.
Not a TV series, but a gift❤️ These are less and less common today, for my taste, an old fan of the old guard of British actors. I was also very pleased with the new young faces here (where can I sign up as a Jack Loudon fan?) The inscription Next season has never brought such joy :D
It's a great season. The horses were not so lame and turned out to be against the background of Duffy and co. Lam and traps in the house 👍well, I love Jack Lowden very much since "War and Peace". He's a smart girl. (And I probably already wrote about it somewhere, because I think about it regularly, but lowkey wants to see him and Simon Pegg in the roles of son and father, respectively.)
Finally, Standish was told that her former adored boss was a bad man. Lam, as always, carries everything. Even Marcus performed well in the final. I am sincerely sorry for Donovan and the Dunn family.
@ninon92: I don't think it's the first time he's told her that. I don't remember whether in the first she was also told and hinted at by who killed her former boss and for what, or in the second.
Judging by the season and the announcement of the next season at the end of the final episode, "trust in the special services" is constantly in question because of their working methods and the personnel who work there. And the loudest of the other special services are saving this whole system. At the same time, one drug addict crumbled the commandos without preparation (with what force it is necessary to stick a CD so that it cuts an artery), the other did not burn in the fire, did not drown in the water and managed to get to the round-the-clock copy center. Well, what a charm! I'm looking forward to the next season! And I'll read books in the break.
@severefish: it doesn't seem like there was a whole CD, but a chip with sharp edges, so it's easy. But in general, of course, it did not look very plausible that a couple of "scum" of the special services practically without weapons and without equipment knocked down armed and equipped "brave dogs"
@severefish: She generally failed the most. At least 10 people. 2 in the hangar below, 2 in the hangar on the stairs above, 2 in the parking lot with a car, 1 in the parking lot with a rifle, and also with a grenade, several people in the pipe, like there were 2-3. But in general, there is not much to complain about. She didn't show anything supernatural.
And so I like the series more and more, we are waiting for the 4th season at the end of the year.
I see that most people didn't like the assault, they say it's implausible, and I partly agree, there was already too much somewhere, but the series presented us in advance as arrogant assholes who have more honor than skills, so their shoals are not so acutely perceived for the rest of the time, which the series itself focuses on (as with walkie-talkies). And in principle, the moral of this fable is: don't be an asshole and don't gloat that you are better than others.
All this intelligence is like some kind of freak show. It's just that some banter is constantly happening over their lack of professionalism. And when there is something serious and dramatic in all this, it is confusing. But in all this, the series has its own style, which is probably why I like it.
For me, this season's narrative has been pretty well diluted with action scenes. Somehow it all became more lively. By the fifth season, you see, Cartwright will grow into a super cool spy)
How do the "nags" plan to work without Stand-up? The whole office was based on her.

It seems that the company is pleased with the success of the show about unsuccessful MI5 agents starring Gary Oldman.

It's very noticeable here that Lam didn't get the smartest guys, sometimes such failures.
But River began to think a little
