s01e03 — Ramona Rents a Video

I'll be upset if Ramona goes on looking for a guy herself and Scott won't be there until the finale : (It was hinted from conversations that she would be the one to deal with exes.

I will continue to watch and pray that all this was done for the sake of expanding the Scott Pilgrim universe, which will be extended for new seasons and for the sake of a cool story 🙏

And I like the way everything turned around. Well, if Brian Lee O'Malley is not interested in seeing the same story 3 times in a row, but looking at it from a different angle, then why not. Moreover, he is the one who is here as a screenwriter, so he knows better. Well, now it has finally become clear why this version is called "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off" - "Scott is leaving".

The scene on the plane is cool, the concept of fighting in the movies is interesting (perhaps the idea of Edgar Wright?). Well, the moment with Kim is practically canon, only on the other hand.

It feels like the rhythm is slightly lost, but not critically.

I don't like. Because I was expecting (FINALLY) a comic book adaptation with a detailed plot, but I got something different and strange. It feels like they decided to make an alternative plot, because the comic is outdated by Hollywood standards. And to limit it to 8 episodes... Ramona is now a strong and independent woman who does not need an alpha male to solve her problems and she will fight all the exes herself. It's kind of cool, but in my opinion the comic itself is a million times funnier due to the imperfect main characters ... eh, I'll keep watching, but I already feel disappointed.

wow. The moment Roxy and Ramona fight is just something with something. And funny and beautiful! I hope that Ramona will continue to fight with her exes. Now I want to look at the cool Ramona, but I also don't want Scott to be shown only at the end. The ending is generally fire.

Дойдя до этой серии, задумался: а что, если Скотта похитила... Рамона из будущего, которая решила, что должна сама пройти весь путь и решить свои эмоциональные проблемы с бывшими?

А я наоборот в восторге, что сделали абсолютно другой сюжет! Все мы комиксы читали, фильм миллион раз смотрели, это же так круто, что не стали снова экранизировать ту же самую историю! При этом персонажи, харизма каста фильма и общий шарм ни чуть не изменились, лучшего "нового" Пилигрима я и представить не могла!! 😍

Я начала смотреть только из-за того, что хотела посмотреть фильм в анимационном виде. Не знаю как к новой истории относиться, но посмотрю дальше.
