It's a cool episode, although the fact that Bailey and John can't even rest on vacation is already some kind of sur!) But the scenery was great, at least some kind of change of scenery.

It's a shame for Lucy, I'm sure that personal opinion played a role here...

@unicornpower: personal or not, the fact that after so many years of work she has buried evidence suggests that she is clearly not the best officer. The fact that she was lucky to get a confession that time doesn't change anything. The examiner was shown to be very meticulous, who studies each candidate in detail with quite logical consequences.

Nolan and Bailey are a magnet for extreme switching. It was expected that they would get into something on vacation. But Harper and Lopez used their resources professionally. Even Gray was dying.
Lucy... If she had passed right away, I would have been very surprised. Well, first of all, Nolan and two rookies would have stayed on patrol. And secondly, she completely screwed up the evidence. On top of everything else, her excellent student syndrome (not without the help of her parents) I didn't play it in favor. Chen drove herself, exhausted Tim along the way, and, as for me, she's not ready yet, or maybe it's not her at all. But the cup from Tim is a very nice gesture.

It's amazing how many people liked the series. And for me, this is the dumbest episode of the whole series. A ridiculous vacation adventure in itself was still a good idea, but Harper and Lopez's trip there was just sucked out of their fingers already, because the screenwriters do not have enough imagination.

This season is disappointing for me. There are still consequences of strikes, or maybe a crisis of ideas.
I love Nolan and Bailey, despite all the nonsense that happens to them all the time. But Lucy is slipping from a favorite to the most impotent character for me.
The relationship with Tim did not benefit both heroes. The feeling is that the screenwriters don't like this pair, but "we need to do it," so they prescribe it in such a way as to collapse as soon as possible. (My subjective)

Nolan and Bailey leave at the expense of comicality, and here they just don't know where to put them. Therefore, it's a dumb move that Tim is often on patrol to somehow make them interact. Because as I remember, before Tim, the dude didn't really see his family at all. And in fact, they would only have time to meet Lucy at home. But no, Tim and the Subway are like two different units, he's always on patrol, then he's doing some kind of bullshit. Now Lucy has become hysterical. @Clarissa: Yes, with Selina some kind of sur. Apparently they wrote it in for humor. But compared to the first season, she would have flown out before reaching the day in civilian clothes. And she hasn't had a hike yet, although she's been there for a long time. In general, they scored on the whole atmosphere of the recruit. Everything was messed up, the joints were fixed. Selina messes up and everyone forgives her. It really pisses me off. Thorsen fit in better both as a rookie and as a patrolman.

I'm already watching the 3rd episode and I feel some kind of disappointment. The plot is not linear, jumps somewhere, stupid situations and not even comic. The feeling that everyone is doing what they want. Lopez and Harper went to the island under a stupid pretext. Tim hangs out with the patrolmen, replaces Nolan. And most of all, Lucy is infuriated by the fact that even knowing that Tim took Selina to study while Nolan is on his honeymoon, she stupidly undermines his authority. Like he's my boyfriend and what's he going to do to me? I'll chat with the newbie for now. And why the hell did she go with them anyway. She's always been good at feeling, empathetic. And she said herself that he was biased at work if they were a couple. And then she interferes with the learning process, like since she's his girlfriend, the law is not written for her.

I dragged on with this series for a long time, because the next one is still 2 weeks to wait, but still I couldn't stand it, very cool!And she kept in suspense, she was afraid for John and Bailey, John fought hard and saved her...They can't be without adventures, like a wedding, like a honeymoon...For some reason, I remembered the vibes of Beckett and Castle, the series where they rested in the Haptoms, very similar..I constantly think of Castle when I look at Jonah, I just love this series, I even wanted to review it..in general, I liked the series, and Tim and Lucy have such a cute moment at the end, I really like them too 😍
