@Its_only_me: I agree with you, but if the child has no other relatives except his grandfather, he would have been handed over to him anyway. Or left in the system if he refused. I prefer to think that Grandpa will take care, if only out of guilt. He helped his daughter. And even such a house is better than a shelter, in most cases.
And why not? The woman is quite pleasant and has done nothing wrong, the man is a cheater, but you can't put a cross on him. And the son actually killed out of self-defense, and then just got scared. Besides, the man took care of his daughter, and I think he also took care of his granddaughter. This option is better than a shelter.
Patrick and the baby ^__________^ :3 These are the last seconds of the episode, when he handed the child over to "grandma and grandpa", and after that his smile gradually disappeared. This is the moment when you realize that he knows what it's like to lose a child, and knows how valuable a "new child" in the form of a granddaughter is in this case. And even earlier, when a woman from social services took a child from Patrick's hands, and he was obviously so upset about it. This is all about how amazingly well thought out the psychology in this series is. The behavior of the characters is five stars. All these emotions and interactions. This also includes the moment with Van Pelt and Rigsby, when they simultaneously reached for food, and then recoiled. Just AAH
Surprisingly. I can't believe it. I absolutely do not like Lisbon (I hear Lisben, by the way), although the same actress in the Escape, playing Veronica, impressed me very much. And it seems that either the color of her hair, or such thinness, makes her look very old. Jane's voice acting cuts my ear (TV3), and I can't do anything about it. His languor is painfully at odds with his visual image.
But! With all this, the series fly by one after another, the amazing depth of feelings, very interesting investigations and experiences of our CBI department. The actors act out at the highest level. I expected less. It's a great series.
Lisbon doesn't seem to be stupid. Did she really think Jane didn't know when she was lying to him? Yes, he knows her like a flake, he knows all her thoughts in advance and he is also aware that she is drooling at him.
A very interesting plot in this series. I looked at the next breath. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to hand over a child, but at least this way the baby has a chance to grow up in her family, and it's a good "replacement" and "distraction" for newly minted grandparents. Yes, this episode is worth watching at least for the sake of pineapple pizza, talking about Leah Lisbon and the last seconds with Patrick's smile. Highly recommended!
A very interesting plot in this series. I watched it in one go. Highly recommended! You can look at it just for the moment with pineapples, a toothpick on a glass, Lisbon's lies and the last seconds with Patrick's smile. To be honest, I'm not sure that handing over a child to these people is a good idea. However, this is at least some kind of "replacement" and "distraction" for the newly minted grandparents. And Jane is so sweet with the kids, it's just a miracle.

Emotionally, one of the best episodes in all such series!
