@vk249041: there are absolutely no key points left, everything in the book is completely different and simpler. There is no smoke, no egg, no portal in the locker, etc. The book is normal, but they stuffed everything into the series and the plot already borders on the absurd.
@Ms_Dorothy: The idea of the dome and most of the main characters are taken from the book. The storyline of the series in season 1 is very different and has nothing to do with the book since season 2.
it was really interesting to watch the first episodes 5-6 of the 1st season, then - kaput! This is really an encyclopedia of moronism: visual aids what NOT to do, where NOT to go or climb. A set of the most ridiculous excuses and idiotic remarks for the most incredible and illogical cases! Terrible facial expressions and acting of almost all actors, dumb-assed and self-confident characters!.... - Who did it?! Why did you do that?! - This is what the Dome wanted, this is my purpose - I know, I feel! etc. etc.
Have you guys seen the book or the original script (I doubt anyone has read it)? There's enough crap like that for both volumes of War and Peace. (the size of the book is appropriate).
I can spoiler - this series will be about like LOST. Then the level of awesome will increase.

Some moments in the series are sincerely reminiscent of the Lost. Namely, those in which your nose is powdered and you are sitting with thoughts like "WHAT's WRONG?". But you're still going to spend a lot of time watching this series. And he will simultaneously infuriate with his increasingly twisting strange plot and the actions of the characters. It vaguely resembles "Stay Alive", my favorite TV series. The heroes are also locked up, too, something great and mysterious chooses several people and each has its own purpose.. But there is too much inaccuracy, illogic, and sometimes even absurdity in "Under the Dome". There are many more movie clips. In the Lost, all the events were explained and connected with each other, but sometimes it's such chaos! The acting is terrible, the dialogues are childish babble about nothing at all.

And sometimes there was a feeling that the actors did not know how to play, which is worth one Julia, who had recently been shot, but was already running calmly without any pain. Да, он сначала довольно "опасно" размахивал пушкой перед Мелани, потому что думал, что она виновна, но найдя убийцу, он как-то вообще подзабыл о нем из-за всей движухи с Куполом. Я точно помню, как он и Джеймс планировали месть и все-такое. При этом второй, несмотря на всю суету вокруг мистических событий с Куполом, хотя бы избил своего дядьку и хотел даже грохнуть, в то время как Джо почти везде стоит с Сэмом в одной толпе и такой: "Мэээх, мою сестру убили, я скучаю, но давайте уже просто свалим отсюда..." Это нормально или я что-то пропустила?

Сначала Барби изумительно "спас" тракториста прямо на глазах у малолетнего пиздёныша, спасатели Малибу отдыхают. Что стало с сиротой - история умалчивает, но как минимум ссытся в штаны и на всю жизнь заика.
Затем Хэнк взял молоток в мозолистые руки и начал без базара хуярить по кумполу всех подряд, хе-хе. Цветных в шоу, по-моему, уже не осталось.
Заодно выяснилось, что покойная жена Хэнка рисует гораздо лучше, чем Стивен Кинг пишет!
Ребят , я не понимаю , если всем так не нравится , зачем вы смотрите? Ещё и досматриваете до конца и пишите «ура , наконец то это закончилось» и так далее. Мне сериал нравится , затягивает неплохо , сюжет и задумка хорошие , может некоторые актёры не очень играют , но если вам не нравится , так не смотрите)))
Невидимый купол, который оторвал городок от всего мира - ни выйти, ни зайти. Как сценаристы испортили такую шикарную идею? Прекрасный 1 сезон, дальше которого смотреть не стоит. Я влюбилась в саму идею и сценарий сериала, но затем очень глубоко разочаровалась во 2-ом сезоне (3-ий ещё не смотрела). Пока что очень раскрыта тема, почему купол появился в этом городке, надеюсь в третем сезоне расскажут.

Младший ладно, он себе на уме, но он один из четырёх рук. Жена его тоже важна была, а он чего вообще? И почему он Джулию решил убить? По фану?
