Nathan and Mimsy are parodies of the gangsters from Looney Tunes. We also see the poster on the wall in Nathan's bedroom near the end of the episode. Also Nathan's mom locked him in his bedroom so his parents can go on vacation. Paying homage to Home Alone. I also liked the Wacky Races scenes.
