And it would be nice if they had such a love there that they don't care about Dean's marriage and in general about all obstacles... But as far as I remember, Dean always expressed violent feelings for Rory, and she allowed him to love her. One minute she couldn't decide if she loved him, the next she couldn't figure out with Jess, and she kept Dean by her side. And then as soon as he got married, this whole "let's be friends" thing started (this is after everything they had) and how good he was, I'm sorry I didn't appreciate it and how it ended. At least Lorelei didn't feel sorry for her, but immediately set her brains straight.

what moment? Lorelai was right to say everything. It doesn't matter what kind of "bad" Lindsay is, Dean chose her himself and decided to get married himself. The first time always doesn't happen the way you expect. so, it's very vital. and I don't have anger at Rory, like many of the perfect and correct ones here, she's smart and reasonable, that's the problem, she's lost her head, confused. At 19, we are still children, and it's okay to make mistakes, it's much worse when they are repeated over and over again. but when they draw conclusions, it's good. I'm not making excuses for Rory, but that's what they did. As if no one made mistakes in their youth, our mistakes and the way we deal with them make us who we are. Yes, she did the wrong thing, but throw a rotten egg at me if you've done everything right in your life and everyone is so perfect. I was more disappointed by your comments than even Rory's action.

1. As much as I'm glad that Luke realized his feelings, I can't see them with Lorelai, the arguments are about the same as Rory's
2. Jason's breakup with Lorelai was terrible, he was abandoned by everyone, Lorelai was unreasonably cruel to him
3. I don't understand the haight on Rory, that everything turned out so logically justified, but the reaction with screams from Lorelai was terribly traumatic. And anyway, this arrangement of theirs that they had to discuss it is a complete game.

It seems to me that the writers did the right thing by choosing such a turn with Rory's "first time". Up to this point, she was all perfect, reasonable, thoughtful, but the girl is 19 years old! It's normal that she makes mistakes, and that's what happens in life. It is better that bitter experience teach her now and this will not happen to her anymore than she will find herself in the future among adult women who do exactly the same.

And yes, I agree with the comment above that Dean is in the relationship here, not Rory, which means that he is responsible for their preservation.
